I saw the subbed version of Sailor Moon AFTER the other one. I STILL like the subbed on better.
Seeing one version before the other doesn't effect how I like things. I saw the Yu-Gi-Oh dub and UGH. EW. 4Kids= Death on a Stick.
But I like the dubs for DBZ, Utena, Ronin Warriors, and Yu Yu Hakusho. So I'm not biased, at least. =P

zabuza sounds older and manish and icky and FILTHY and just evilevily bastardy.. which, i think, is perfect for him. hes supposed to sound that way. if memory serves me right, we were never supposed to actually LIKE zabuza anyway. so its only natural hed get such a badassed jerk-monster-bastardy voice! He did well in episode before that one and now he is back at sounding monotone. Meh, I mean I can see that he's trying to sound bored and cool, like Kakashi does, but I think he overdid it a bit.

It might be unfair to give him the better opinion because Sasuke is so damn reticent and practically is monotonous. Maa~ I can't wait for the Chuunin exams where he gets infected with angstitis. XD

And in retrospect, Kakashi's voice isn't *so* bad, because Kakashi is as monotonous as Sasuke or perhaps even more so.

I just don't like Kakashi's dub voice. It comes off as arrogant and trying-too-hard-ish. Except when Sasuke's dub voice is being mocking (during which he comes off as a pansy), for the most part, his VA does a good job.
