asking about...Naruto yaoi in English these days

I have been away from the English Naruto fandom for a year and half, so I have no idea the current (or even recent past) popular pairings, fics, authors etc. If anybody could give me a quick rundown on what's going on, I will be most grateful.

If anybody is interested, I have a lot of high-quality Japanese doujinshi scans I scanned myself and will be happy to share. (Mostly 4Kaka and KakaSasu...that should tell you my personal tastes. :P)

d00d. *totally recognizes your name anyway* I haven't read much fic lately, but I know that in English fandom SasuNaru (and permutations there of) definitely isn't too popular these days, or is underground, and other crazy but adoring pairings have come out...like Kakashi/Chiyo >_> *cough* Which isn't yaoi but, yep. Lots of people like Sai! Deidara is also very popular, hee, but I can't speak for who they're frequently paired with. And to speak of characters, there's a lot of Sasuke haters, or a lot more vocal ones than ones that like him. Which is the way it has been and will be I suppose.

I just coughed because I think the pair is hilarious, but sadly I don't know of any KakaChiyo fics. I'm not sure I'd be around after discovering one because my brain just might rupture from the discovery XD I mostly picked up on the pairing's existance on an old, now purged journal :(( Damn, those icons were hilarious, too.

You recognize this name? @_@ If you don't know me from my Chinese fandom activities, I have to say I'm majorly surprised.

SasuNaru, eh whatever. I can deal with Sasuke haters, too. (I like Sasuke, but I have no particular inclination to defend him...I guess it's called tough love.)

Chiyo is from the anime, right? Haven't watched the filler episodes at all but I keep hearing people complaining about them.

Yeah I'll probably be jumping back into the English fandom soon. Thanks for your welcome, it's very sweet. :)

Ahhhh noooooo, do you keep up with the manga? Chiyo is the old Sand-nin woman who assists part2!Naruto, you know? And her first reaction to Kakashi was hilarious? But yeah, she's definitely in the manga.

I love 4Kaka~~~wrote a lot about them, too. Well not in English but maybe some English stuff in the future, who knows. I so have to add you when I install AIM again... :)

PS: 4Kaka is not a rarebreed, a lot of people love this pairing where I come from...

Uh, well, KakaIru still rules the roost (sadly). There's more GaiKaka now than there was a year ago. Sandcest pairings are starting to appear more frequently. Other than that I couldn't really tell you...

As for ItaKaka, that's actually one of the most popular Kakashi-related pairing in my circles right now (the other being KakaSasu).

GaiKaka is my OTP, haha. XD Alongside AsuKaka. Which remains nonexistent here, alas.

I think Uchihacest still has a pretty big fanbase, but I find the Uchihas profoundly boring so I don't really pay attention to that side of fandom. I only know of ItaKaka 'cos it involves Kakashi. X3;
