Have any of you felt disillusioned with the current Naruto manga ever since Orochimaru reappeared? Do you wonder why? Maybe you can relate to my personal complaint with Kishimoto's latest storytelling style.

I have been away from the English Naruto fandom for a year and half, so I have no idea the current (or even recent past) popular pairings, fics, authors etc. If anybody could give me a quick rundown on what's going on, I will be most grateful.

If anybody is interested, I have a lot of high-quality Japanese doujinshi scans I scanned myself and will be happy to share. (Mostly 4Kaka and KakaSasu...that should tell you my personal tastes. :P)
