I think most of dead characters would have something to say or complain about.

Uchiha Madara's brother had his eyballs poked out. Then he was sent into battle and died.
Gekkou Hayate had a girlfriend, and people thought she was his sister.
If somebody said, "you remember that character, Shiore?" Most people would probably say, "Who?"
