Summary: I really wanted to write something solid for this pairing, and I came up with something far more substantial (and much longer!) than I planned. The story is about how awkward things can be when you realize you love your best friend. But, of course, there's much more to it than that. :)

These are neither of them my favorite characters, and you've made me really root for them, which is awesome. And made me absolutely believe in their characterization.

I like the way you handle the awkward transition from friendship to more, and the sort of comedic / sort of painful misunderstandings between them.

Also? The genin teams were adorable, and 3-D. Thanks for posting!

They actually aren't my favorite characters either, but this was the first idea that persisted and insisted that I need to get back into writing fanfic. Next up is probably Shika/Tema BECAUSE I AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED BY THEM. [Also, I'm just such an insane person that I take massive notes and research my characters before writing them, and...there wasn't too much to sift for Choji/Ino. :P]
