Excuse me!!! I think you'll find the Hyuuga is the freak. >:O The Sound 4's East Gate is named Kidoumaru. And yes, I guess this guy could well be related to him.

They might be related, but the very thought of it offends me. For one thing, Kidoumaru is hot, and this guy looks shitty as all hell. Kidoumaru has six arms, and this guy has the regular two, which could mean Kidoumaru got their 'bloodline' in higher supply, I suppose, but it's still weird. The spiders were a summon of Kidoumaru's, he didn't keep them as pets. This guy's name is also Jiroubou, which is just sad, because not only are they already recycling names, they're recycling names in the same village. Quite frankly, I don't think they were intended to be related at all. I think this new Jiroubou is just a cheap Kidoumaru ripoff.

I agree that Kidoumaru was cocky as all hell and had the weirdest common sense I've ever seen (in earlier episodes he cautions Sakon and Tayuya to careful and when he fights Neji he treats it like a game), but he was by far one of the most intelligent fighters in Naruto. He found out the Byakuugan's weakness in like five minutes, and it was nice for the bad guy to have the advantage because he was smarter and not because he was more powerful or had better techniques for once. He was also oddly good looking in his death scene.

I agree. ^^ If they're related it has to be waaaaay distantly, because damn...this poor chap is, to put it kindly, plain. Kidou is indeed way too hot to be directly related. XD But it made me smile anyway; all the spiders are belong to Sound! :)

I thought it was tolerable until I found out the guy's name was Jiroubou, and then I was just "WTF?" Besides, I rather prefer the thought of the Sound Four all being orphans and they're loyal to Orochimaru because they all used to have a Gaara complex.

I don't have the Neji hate-on you do, but he's a little too androgynous for me to find him at all attractive. Hell, I find Shikamaru better looking, and he definitely isn't qualified as hot.

I think Shikamaru is kind of hot, but then guys with brains are. ^^ (and I am kind of lazy too). He's also kind of funny in a dry way.

I loathe Neji and he is actually the only character in the show I dislike completely. I hated from the moment of that fight with Hinata (seriously cruelty to someone as sweet and well meaning as Hinata is like kicking puppies) and then what happened to Kidou was like the last straw really.

Neji is a character I mildly dislike, because he is a snotty bastard with issues, but I actually used to dislike Sakure more until she finally got a backbone after the timejump. My last straw for her was the crying fit she put on in front of the rescue crew. I mean, come on, she's a shinobi. Where's the grit?

I actually just rewatched the episode five minutes ago (and have it paused when Kidoumaru is at his most hottest for inspiration), because I thought I was exaggerating in my mind how smart Kidoumuru way. It turned out I was underestimating it. His traps put Sakura's to shame like woah. And it's just hilarious how everyone in Konoha seems to believe that the Byakuugan is this unstoppable doujutsu, and this fourteen year old kid figures it out in less time than it takes for me to brush my teeth.

Poor Sakura, her tear ducts have a malfunction. ^^ She's a character I have acertain amount of time for as the role of a powerful healer in a team cannot be ignored, and she's found her niche there, but...the one track mind over Sasuke is dull. She might have gone off him if he'd stayed, but because he's gone, she's still got this pathetically idealised thought in her head that he can be 'saved'.

I actually think he might be the same age as Neji instead of slightly older, because the second info book takes the year gap into account, so they list Neji's age as fourteen, same as Kidoumaru's. It doesn't make sense that they'd put the Sound Five at the ages they were at the beginning of the series, so isn't Neji technically a few months older than Kidoumaru, or do I have my info wrong?

I decided to be helpful and checked in my listings. Neji was born on July 3rd, while Kidoumaru was born on December 16th. It's very possible that Neji is older than Kidoumaru. Which baffles me. Kidoumaru doesn't look 14, and he definitely looks older than ~~the guy with the stick up his ass~~ Neji.
