This one is something that was conjured up between

gantzer and me during an MSN conversation forever back. I drew it before my disappearance and have just finally gotten around to coloring it. I tried something different and did this crazy messy background. I actually really like the background. I think it's cute. And because of the way I did it, I feel is makes the two characters pop out more. So here is my piece entitled "In a Field of Buttersnakes."

Mrrr. I've been re-reading the earlier manga that's actually come out in the U.S. partially out of boredom and partially to see how much the series has grown since the start of it. Naturally, there are some inconsistencies between what's developing currently to what was said in the first few volumes. Kishimoto was still developing the story back then and everything was a bit more uncertain than it is now. However, there was one slight inconstancy that irked me to no end once I spotted it. I was seriously rolling around on my bed like an overturned beetle and having a fit over how obvious it was.

*Huff* >_> I guess I'm just wondering if I'm the only one who feels this way. Am I the only one wonders how Anko can be so horridly blind in that?
