Maybe it's just due to the incredible hawtness of sixteen-year old Kakashi in the flashback.

You're definitely not the only one. I thought about it once when my days of Kakashi-fangirling have just begun, and at that time I hadn't even watched the movie (it wasn't released yet), just reading summaries here and there. I was going to write a fic about Kakashi's past involving Koyuki (in an alternate timeline), but I threw the idea to the trashcan because Kakashi gaiden was published. And then I fell in love with KakaSaku pairing and I never really consider Kaka/Koyuki again...

As for Kakashi/Koyuki, it's getting worse and worse because I'm pretty sure I even had a dream about it last night... But I don't see them as a possible couple in the past. Maybe they thought about each other, but she was way too young back then. No, I'd like to think that maybe they manage to see each other once in a while after she becomes Princess/actress.

They said so in NarutoFan (http://www.narutofan.com) few weeks ago. ^_^ This whole Sasame mess is just a filler arc (it isn't in the manga) before they move on to Kakashi Gaiden.

SWEETANGRYJEEZUS to be able to see the Yondaime Team fully animated!! I totally freaked out at that brief frame showing them in Sarutobi's flashbacks. I wonder how I'll react to an actual episode. O_O The voice casting has been near-perfect so far. I can't wait to hear Yondaime, Little Kakashi and Obito. >u<

A lot of fans are waiting for this! They'd be stupid to cut it out of the anime. T_T And I'd be devastated
