Kyuubi regeneration powers; limbs?

Remember way back when, around manga Volume 017 Chapters 145 - 153, or Episode 84? Kisame-san offered to cut off one of Naruto's limbs to stop him from fighting or running away. I'm just wondering, had that happen would it have grown back eventually? With holes in the body, the Kyuubi has to pitch or else Naruto would die, but without his limbs the Kyuubi wouldn't die, then there is would Kyuubi have the capablity to regenerate limbs, which is quite different from closing up holes?

I think it would be able to regenerate arms if the need for fighting was there. I can just picture a new arm Regenerating in seconds doing the whole shoot out and grow from skinny bony arm to full naruto limb

Maybe it's like Manji in Blood of the Immortal. If something gets cut off, as long as it can be stuck back on, it'll heal.

I read it as meaning that the Akatsuki didn't care if Naruto was captured in two pieces instead of one, as long as he was alive. Seeing what was done to Gaara cemented this.

ahh i doubt it's like that, manji's situation is very different as you obviously know..

i'd say with naruto's new release thing, which he can't control yet.. i'd say naruto wouldn't need a limb if it was cut off, the kyuubi release would give him like a bubble arm haha

there's also the whole thing, with like fuedal japan, if another warrior cut off one of your limbs, rightfully that limb belonged to the warrior who cut it off
