From anime to... "realism".

My scanner did quite a job of ruining the quality of this one. It looks so much different in real life, but oh well.
Mmmm... It's Sakura! I tried, ok?! ;_; This is the first time I've ever tried doing realism out of an anime character before. The reference came from GettyImages, and I hope the woman I based this on doesn't find this community. I know she'll come after me and be like, "WOAH what did you do to my beautiful face?!! >:E" (Because she was actually very nice looking...)

hey! that's not bad at all! you did a great job with the face, but the forehead protector looks a bit small. The woman definatly has Sakura's forehead XD Good job! :)

I agree about the forehead protector, but it looks great! The shading on the face is awesome, and the hair looks really good. Realistic hair can be irritating (to me, anyway).. but you did it really well ^_^

It's pretty good, if you ask me ^_^. Her hair looks a tad bit dark, perhaps it would look better if it were light gray? I agree about the forehead protecter, but maybe from the angle it is supposed to look like that.
