666 Satan community

I expect most of you know who Masahi Kishimoto is. I mean, you better, if you call yourselves fans of Naruto. Did you know, however, that Masashi-sensei has a twin brother named Seishi? Who also draws manga? Well, if you didn't, here's your chance to get to know him and his (so far) only ongoing work, 666 SATAN! Despite the scary title, 666 is actually a fun action/adventure shonen manga very much in the style of Naruto. In fact, it especially pays off if you're familiar with Naruto when you're reading 666 and vice versa because it's clear that the two brothers share a lot of ideas. Some [in]famous scenes actually appear in both mangas, albeit with different characters involved ;)

If I've piqued your interest, or if you're one of the lucky folks who got into 666 when Toriyama's World first started scanlating it (but stopped after an incomplete three volumes T_T), come join the community I made!

Hahaha ^^ Yeah, that tends to be the problem when trying to get people introduced in 666. They all look at you weird and slowly slink away ;-)

I've read it. It's pretty good. I'm going to need a new fandom to fawn over now that Naruto's too popular here in the States. There's no way a manga with the title 666 Satan's going to get licensed. XD; *hopes she didn't jinx it*

Nah, I don't think it'll get licensed. Not so much for the title, though it might raise eyebrows, but simply because no one knows what the hell "666 Satan" means. It's too obscure, IMO.

And yes! I hope that a small fandom will develop - one of pleasant size, not too big (so not like Naruto) but not so small that it more or less doesn't exist. I'd like that :)

I read it a really long time ago. I don't even read much since it was a while ago. Probably ended around volume 1. Only after you posted, I started to remember bits and pieces.

Oh, okay then! I'd recommend picking it up again (but of course). It doesn't really get going until the Entotsu City arc, and then it doesn't *really* get going until the arc after that ;)
