Fandom question.
Dec. 25th, 2005 03:11 pmThis is about the post made earlier. In the comments about the wallpaper with the whole lineage of senseis the name Uzumaki Arashi kept coming up. Now I know that the name is totally a part of fanon and is NOT canon, but where did it come from? The people there seemed pretty adamant about it being his name (which it's not).

Date: 2005-12-25 10:19 pm (UTC)It would be a very fitting name, too bad it can't be due to another character having the name. :/

Date: 2005-12-25 10:23 pm (UTC)Then someone, somewhere, made a suggestion: That the kanji might be "Arashi". Arashi means "storm" or some such -- fitting for the Fourth Hokage, most fans tend to agree, as it goes with the whole whirl imagery. It was very popular, but still just fanon. No one can read that kanji.
And it's been a while since I checked the image, but I'm pretty sure the fourth's name doesn't have "Uzumaki" in it.
And the "Arashi" character in the anime was filler, so technically it shouldn't have any influence on what the Fourth's name turns out to be.
