I STILL can't figure out what Kabuto saw, was it as plain as the rabbit? Was it something else?

It was refering to the fact that OROCHIMARU saw Kabuto betraying him.

He saw the rabbit...but, you know it could have been the world's most vicious rabbit; in this way, Oro saved Xmas. ^^

(Kabuto may be only pretending to be scared. I am not wholly sure he's being scared terribly well...maybe it's just that we know him, but Kabuto's gentle face never seems convincing! :D But who knows. ^^ I want to know more about the memory block thing!)

I began reading the back-and-forth thread at NF.com, and it's making sense that:

'That' spy that Deidara mentions when he and Sasori are approaching Sunagakure is Yuura, for the fact that after he's congratulated for revealing information, that body zap thing happens, meaning that he was definitely either DIS/ACTIVATED from Sasori's jutsu. The spy with Orochimaru is OBVIOUSLY Kabuto and Orochimaru followed Kabuto to make him keep the eye on the prize. Orochimaru KNOWS Sasori's tricks of the trade, he was partners with him for XMAS SAKES! Gah, I love Kishimoto, leaving it up to the fans for crack theories and such.

Yes, Kabuto knows the signs/symptoms of the jutsu well (the headaches and the disorientation as memory activates), but indeed; Sasori and Oro know each others tricks well, I'll bet, even if it has been a while. ^^

I want to know more about it (because I love Sasori, and because I have been wondering about Yuura for ages).

Yes, I tried not to think about Zetsu dooky, but I inevitably did anyway! lol!

The whole memory block jutsu intriugues me because it's so different in style from Sasori's other jutsu (which is very cool) and it interests me from the angle that it shows Akatsuki have a much wider reach than might first appear (they're not just the actual members, but they have people working for them...).

Of course they network! ^^ Well. Some of them network. I don't think Itachi networks because he has no social skills. I recall he once managed to get a woman to distract Jiraiya. But that's not really a very hard test, is it. ;) :P But Sasori had at least two spies in Sand and one (so he said) in Sound...:)

And we still have three to officially meet (plus Sir Leader sama really, I suppose).

Yes :D Itachi might be intellectually a genius, but he has a zero in social skill; Kisame, on the other hand, is a model of politeness when talking to other people and quite extrovert. :)
