I've pretty much stopped watching Naruto on episode 162 or 163. I don't even remember XD. I have better things to do than watch fillers but, I have a feeling that I'm missing out on something.

So if anybody would be so kind as to tell me if the fillers are worth watching, leave a comment!

No spoilers please--just a comment on how the fillers are and if they are worth my time in DLing and watching.

Thanks, guys!

Well, the current arc is only worthwile if you want a nice helping of Kakashi-sensei.

Other than that... only grab them if you're seriously bored. (Like me, a college student on break with no job XP)

oh and... the most recent episode was only 165... so its still the same storyline you stopped on. A new filler arc should start after January 4th's (5th's?) one hour special (I'm hoping it'll tie up this long-ass arc @.@)

I haven't been watching, either, whether they're worth it or not ... but I've forgotten when the regular story is supposed to start back up again? Isn't it after March?

I personally think they're worth watching. Most people will likely tell you they aren't on principle (they are fillers, therefore they are automatically rubbish). I have watched them all and been quite entertained. They haven't all been good of course, but they've had some great moments.

Considering the writers have had to create entirely new stories because they can't do anything that might affect canon (which has already moved on of course) or major character development, I think they have done a good job. Except they haven't done the half hr. Orochimaru in the shower special for me yet. But there's still time and I am hopeful. ^^

I'll tell you to download and watch. Someone else will tell you different. In the end the truth is only you can decide. As it's filler not manga, and therefore the story is an unknown quantity, I would decide whether you want to or not based on whether something in the plot or a loved character's presence in the arc peaks your interest.

Heh, I stopped watching around episode 145. I'm gonna watch them eventually so that I don't miss out on anything funny or interesting, but damnit... -.-

Is there good sighting of Kiba?

Kiba is in the bug arc, which is a mix of a little drama and some crack comedy, and he's also in the recent Sazanami arc, with the bounty hunter character. ^^

I stopped watching after the Reiga Arc. Which was about episode 158 or 159. I have space on my harddrive I'd like to conserve for after the fillers are over, thank you very much.

It's not like I'm missing anything, my friends who watch will tell me when the Kakashi Gaiden arc is on and I'm happy with that..

[/end rant]

Sorry about that.

But, as far as I know, you're not missing anything

I stopped there, too. Mainly because I got busy with class... and it wasn't holding my attention like before.

I planned to get caught up over break... which is half over now. xD

That was my plan too, but instead I have found myself watching 12 year old boys discover their homosexual tendencies HunterxHunter. X3

I agree, I dont think that the filler, whether they be good or not, are worth watching. I really want them to just to the kakashi gaiden already, I would loove to see it animated, and all the post-jump action!

Well, I personally like the fillers, but that's probably because 2 of the arcs so far have showcased Team Gai being 1337. The current arc is actually pretty well-written, involving a conspiracy in the Bird Country to overthrow the country's daimyo, another guy seeking revenge, and a fake ghost. There's some seppuku, Tenten doing things, and even those little frog guys (Gamacrappy? Gamakermit? Gama...kichi?).
Tenten does things!

Watch them.
