But that won't stop me from asking a silly question. XD

Yeah, so, everyone knows that Sai has a penis complex. It's obvious. But I doubt the dub would ever air episodes of Sai merrily spouting "penis" every other sentence, which brings me to my point.

I can't remember where I read this, but I remember someone suggesting that Sai's sentences might be turned around just a little bit, as to tone down the language (that is, avoid using the word) while still carrying the gist of the joke, albeit subtly. This person gave as an example that "Do you even have it?" might become "Are you even a man?" or something like that.
I remember this because it sounded plausible to me. ^_^

Yes it is toned down (which is probably good, unless you want little kids at school developing bad verbal habits). I think, though, audiences old enough to put the separate pieces together will catch onto the underlying...obsession. Afterall, there's that ultimate onsen scene. With the guys taking a bath and Sai's eyes traveling not-so-subtly to you-know-where, at least some people will get a wake-up call.

In fact, I actually don't think even the Japanese anime will embrace the penis comment without a dab of censorship. Even in the Tenjou Tenge anime when Maya made some lewd, sexual comment about someone they replaced it with a lesser insult, I believe.

I think the majority of Sai's fans have far more of a penis complex than he does. And if he never makes the stupid insult in the anime it'll do him more good than harm as sadly, it's taken over depiction of his entire character, which is a pity as Sai is very interesting and it makes me sad to see him constantly reduced to a joke.

Itachi is 5'9", an inch taller than Orochimaru. The only reason he looks like a midget compared to Kisame is because Kisame is 6'5". Itachi's dad was also 5'9" (though technically .1 cm taller). Sasuke doesn't have that many short genes against him.
