I have been searching the hallowed Google, but to no avail, so I thought I'd ask you guys: Are there any patterns online for the Hidden Leaf Chuunin/Jounin vest? I picked up a pattern for a regular vest, and I can modify it, but it'd be helpful to have an actual pattern for the vest.

I don't know about patterns and stuff, but ryals_shoal had a post (http://community.livejournal.com/chuunin/1220067.html) that has vest details, you could look at it for reference.

Cosplaying is so much fun! I did it for the first time last month (as Yagami Light from Death Note.), and it's really great, especially if you make a good costume and people ask for you picture! :D *is a dorky cam whore*

Cosplay sounds like so much fun! Thinkinf about it makes me blush. (*squee*) I would cosplay and take pictures too if I had the guts...but... (*sigh*) I must be content with dreaming about it.
