Har, sorry for this useless post in advance XD

Ok, I hate the Orochimaru/Michael Jackson comparison (because I know it's true but don't want it to be >__>), and I try to resist it at every turn by pointing out things like - "But Orochimaru has a nose! And he was born white!"

But after listening to his dub voice (which I love mightily), I swear to god... he sounds like a super-evil version of Michael Jackson.

Doesn't he?? Or am I just nuts? XD

Orochi is... a little bit of everyone I think. Just 'cause he can be ^^ 'cause he's amazing. And I love him.

But I agree about the Michael Jackson thing, people comparing them all the time does get a little irritating 'cause y'know... it's sorta true, but here are SOME differences. He likes his boys 13? A little older then MJ... right?

Well, in actuality, I think he's just being super flattering to small kids because they're very impressionable and they've been treated badly in their lives. Therefore they are very open to someone actually treating them well, and giving them lots of opportunity to actually be some one. Those are the sort of kids Oro likes to pick up, because he knows they have immense potential and by developing their loyalty to him personally, their skills become his to command.

And it's surely true that Orochimaru's people aren't often exactly scared of him, but they do all want to impress him. In fact, many of them, like Kimimaro, would do anything for him. Including die. You don't get that kind of pure loyalty through fear. Oro's clever with people like that.

<.< I agree with you on all counts, btw.. Kids are impressionable. And his subjects really are devoted, like Kimimaro and Kabuto, or some of them are just resigned, like the Sound Four. Either way, they know who they serve.

Orochimaru is stylish.. and beautiful. ^_^
