Anyone else get the feeling that Neji knows about Naruto being a jinchuuriki? There's just something about the way he's acted since the time jump that makes me feel like he knows. This could have been established when they fought together, but.... Kishimoto has a habit, I think, of drawing the Kyuubi to where only we can see it. Hence my only pondering this.

So, do you think he know or am I just reading too much into things?

I've always been a bit confused on this subject. Doesn't Iruka say that the villager shunned him as a child because they knew he was the Kyuubi jinchuuriki? If so, logically, quite a few people in Konoha should know, including some of the genin. Eh. I don't know. It just seems that a lot more people should know than they do, or maybe that's just because Kishimoto shows/tells us a lot.

Sandaime made a rule that no one was to speak about Naruto being a jinchuuriki, so no one Naruto's age or younger knows unless someone has broken the rule and blabbed.

That's a good question. I was wondering that not too long ago: who knows, exactly? And I can't remember when Sakura and Sasuke learn. Naruto goes batshit at the Haku arc, but Sasuke is unconscious and Sakura can't see what's going on. Does Sakura only learn after the time jump?

Yeah, Sakura learns after the time jump, but there's hints that she may have found out during the two and a half years she was training with Tsunade. She had been looking through Tsunade's notes and whatnot about Akatsuki and Orochimaru. She knew who Itachi was and she didn't seem too surprised to learn when Naruto told her- not like Temari anyway.

Sasuke.. he knows that Naruto has something in him but there's no guarantee that Orochimaru would tell him exactly what that is. His brother is chasing after him, sure, but would Oro see any point in informing Sasuke about what the organization is after? Why Itachi was after Naruto? No one but Oro (and Kishimoto) knows the answer to that.

Well, maybe Kabuto, but Kabuto's Orochimaru's bitch XD; He kind of goes in with Orochimaru by default, he he.

Yeah, I think the kids just sort of stayed away from him because maybe they sensed their parent's fright or something. I mean its kind of like how kids who have prejuidiced parents are more likely to be prejuidice themselves, i guess?

I'm betting they disliked him for no real reason. (the kids, i mean.)

yeah, she finds out but she doesn't seem too suprised. she looks really sad though, and cries later when she finds out he'll die if the kyuubi is removed. :(

Doesn't Sasuke know it's a big fox though? I was never sure, 'cause when Naruto goes crazy fox styles during their last battle the giant fox head appears behind him and Sasuke's eyes are like "O.O" so I wasn't sure if he was seeing the actual fox or just Naruto powering up with big red chakra flare thing.

Yeah, that's part of what I said before. =\ It's kind of an unsure thing. Kishimoto seems to like to draw Kyuubi to where only we can see it. It could be a physical symbolism. Sasuke could have felt all that power went "O.O ho shit" and the panel after that with the fox could have been Kishimoto expressing that the power is from the Kyuubi.

It's the same with Neji too. We don't know if he actually saw the fox or if it was just a symbolic representation of the power he was seeing within Naruto. That would be more believeable if he had seent he fox, though. If his byakugan could see it, I wouldn't be surprised.

With Sasuke though.. something about the position of the Kyuubi and the way the chakra was surrounding him makes me think that it was just a symbolism. I could be completely wrong but there you go XD;

Sandame said something like that in the beginning when he talked with Iruka. How the kids could pick up on the animosity of their parents and decided to stay away from him. Kids think the world of their parents when they're young, so if Mom and Dad found a reason to hate Naruto then they probably should too. Because Mom and Dad are so wise =P

When they grew older, they became too used to feeling that way and couldn't even remember why. So instead, they decided it was because he's an idiotic prankster who would never amount to anything. He's not worth their time, thus they try not to bother. Same pointless hate, a different excuse.
