Date: 2006-05-03 11:33 pm (UTC)I liked pre-timeskip Naruto better for the first few chapters post-timeskip... but then he started to grow on me, I guess. *shrugs* I still kindof like pre-timeskip better, just because I'm one of those people who's really reluctant to change and whatever.
I do like both now, though. =3

Date: 2006-05-03 11:36 pm (UTC)I don't think he's really changed that much between pre- and post- timeskip personality-wise, although he does seem more and more obsessed with Sasuke, which is more than a little worrisome, considering that Sasuke is a revenge-obsessed freak...

I mean, they're both Naruto and there are moments before and after the timeskip that make me want to wibble and bundle him up in hugs and love. That just happens more often since the timeskip because his eyes have got so much more sad since then and one remembers what he used to be like and just ... *flail* I WANT HIM TO BE HAPPY.

I think timeskip Naruto's squirmed his way into me heart more >_>; There's something about maturity that makes you like a person better. He still rushes into things a lot, but it's not like it used to be.
So yeah XD I like it ALL. *huggles Naruto manga*

He evolved so far but suddenly he's seemed to revert and grow clueless. I don't know if I'm the only one to get that vibe, but it's really annoying me and I kind of want my old Naruto back. :/

Date: 2006-05-04 05:18 am (UTC)I like post-timeskip Naruto more, maybe just because of that look he gets. He knows so much more now. When he was younger there was so much of a "if I keep going and trying and smiling and believing, everything will be fine" mentality with him. He didn't realize how much it would hurt when that philosophy doesn't work out. But he knows now, and he keeps living his life that way because he's Naruto. That's why I like post-timeskip more, there's another dimension to him that I didn't see before. He's not as much of a blind believer.
And I just love the post-timeskip character design, heh.no subject
