2 Questions

I've been thinking of these for awhile and I've finally decided to ask:

1)Who else thinks it will turn out that Shino has strange insect-like compound eyes if we ever see him without glasses? (That filler episode doesn't count.)

2)I don't know if this has already been covered by canon but how did Lee pass the Ninja Academy exam? (The one which they had to create clones and Naruto failed in the first episode)

1) That would definitely explain why he wears the sunglasses, and I've actually been pondering that theory for a while now.

2) They probably made special exception, seeing as he is physically unable to perform ninjutsu/genjutsu. Normally he would have failed, but maybe his academy teacher decided that he had potential to become a ninja beacuse of his strong taijutsu skills and set up a special test catering to his strenghts in taijutsu.

On the topic of Shino, I favour two other interpretations, those being: 1. He's typically blind, or 2. His eyes were eaten out by the Kikaichuu, both inspired by fic and pretty neat thought processes on the part of the authors, really. Both also fit the fact that he is primarily guided by his Kikaichuu, and wears dark glasses. I prefer the blind one, mainly because it's somewhat less disturbing.

1) Yeah, probably. It'd be neat, huh?

2) I think there was something about it in his flashbacks. Erm...hmm. I can't quite remember, but I think they made a special exception--I think it might've had something to do with Gai...?

1) He's just badass.

2) Probably a special exception. In a way, he's a disabled person, but he makes up for it with exceptional potential in another area, so perhaps that was enough for the examiners ^_^ Either that or they knew there was no other way to get him out of their school because it's not like he would give up or anything like that. Heh.

I think I've seen someone say on this community that, ah, it's been stated that Shino has blue eyes...? I think Kishimoto said it.

As far as where he said it or who wrote the information here, I have no idea. ^^;

1. What if he has no eyes altogether, just empty sockets?

2. I remember something being said about Lee being the first to graduate the akademy with no ninjutsu skills...something like that anyway...not sure if they actually went into how he was allowed to pass.

1) I'm pretty sure he has eyes, but it would be so bad ass if his glasses came off and the kikai bugs were crawling out of his empty sockets. Bitch yeah. I think that since we've actually seen his eyes a few times, and they were black, that his eyes are sorta bug like. Maybe he can send masses of kikai bugs to his eyes to change their color or something.

2) Well, he had to do SOMETHING to become a genin. I'll let you guys figure that out. :3
