i think here "spoiler" applies to kakashi gaiden and part 2 of the manga. particularly the latest releases. the assumption is that not everyone reads the manga, so the "common ground" would be up to the end of part 1.

i have to agree with the reminder about icon spoilers. even before i downloaded 306 i found out that *he's* back because of other user icons.

It's anything that gives away something of the series which hasn't yet appeared in the anime. (Which, as pointed out by ronyu, is the Kakashi Gaiden and on.) We're generally more lenient than that in the community, but we try to keep content-spoilers to a minimum, particularly recent-chapter content.

You can't use Sasuke's new outfit, no. But like I said, we're usually lenient on the icon thing; I haven't asked anyone to change an icon for having Naruto or Hinata's new outfits on it, and I certainly don't intend to, if that unofficially clears anything up.

It's generally not problematic enough to bother defining the boundaries that precisely. Since I made a mod post, I'll be running this by the other mods, and maybe we will define it in the future just for clarification's sake.

i'm not up to date with the manga, and i haven't read a thing under a marked spoiler cut, but i've still seen enough to know exactly what's going on. which doesn't really bother me, but still...
