Doesn't the 666 birthmark on the kid look a lot like a certain curse seal we know of? I thought that was pretty interesting so I decided to share.

@_@ The Omen! I can't believe they're remaking this movie. They were so wonderfully bad, uh! I'm excited. Seeing it the day it comes out. ...But now I won't be able to look at Damien without thinking, "Sasuke!"

More to chuunin generally than to you personally, but in reply to your post (it's a great trailer!); The Antichrist is not in fact the son of the devil, as is often thought, but appears to be the collective name given to the dragon and the two beasts of the book of Revelations (the dragon - Satan, and the two beasts, who represent global political power and eccesiastical power, the second beast serving the first). These beasts are developments of beasts in earlier apocalyptic visions, in Daniel, for example. ^-^ The beast's number is 666, and with this number, he'll mark his people.

In Hebrew numerology, the number 666 could represent the name of the Emporer Nero, a great opponant of Christianity; therefore the author of Revelations (St John of Patmos) could be seen to be delivering a highly coded but spiritually encouraging rallying cry to his bretheren, in the form of an apocalypse.

That was all a bit theological....yay! :DDD

This reminds me my own curse-seal sighting:



It's the logo for the Blood Center of Iowa, and when I saw it on the pen they gave me to fill out the forms at the blood drive I just stared at it for a good ten seconds. The nurse noticed my staring and explained that it was supposed to be three drops of blood in a centrifuge... I just asked if I could keep it. She said I could.
I think she thought I was nuts. ^_^;

Eh.. the curse seal mark is used in alot of things xD Check out Spirited Away, it's been spotted on random objects in that movie. Its cause the sign means "Heaven" or something like that, Im not sure. More probable "Hell" because... come on, The Omen. XD

But yeah, when me and my friend saw the preview for that we jumped up in our seats and our popcorn went all over the people in front of us. Good times. XD

Yup, it's a mitsu-tomoe; it's a shinto symbol represeting trinity, the 3 division set up in which the Gods live in the shinto pantheon. So it means heaven and earth and the balance in between.

The Omen's 666 is the mark of the Beast of Revelations, a mark that will not appear on the Beast, but which is his and he will use.

That's what I thought when I saw the preview on Teh Wide Screen. Except then I imagined anybody killing themself for Sasuke because he looked at them and IT COULD HAPPEN.

XD I just about stood up as well, but my legs were all twisted weird so I would've fallen over. I just saw it and my first thought was "homg Sasuke!" So when I got home I was determined to find the trailer to show everyone. Glad to know I wasn't alone in this little realization. :3

I've watched that trailer like eleventy hundred okay, so it was three times and saw the seal/birthmark and IT DIDN'T CONNECT. I don't know what's wrong with my brain. I must not be truly obsessed ;_;

The birthmark looks exactly like Sasuke's curse seal. It's even on the kid's neck, which is pretty close to the shoulder.

I saw the preview when me and my friends went to see The DaVinci Code. I was like, "OMG! Watch for the birthmark!" and my friends died when they saw it. They were like, "Damn you, Orochimaru! ><" It was hilarious. I wish I had that birthmark. *0*

dude the "curse" seal can be seen on latern's in chinese resturants and some japanese sushi joints. It's essentially Heaven, earth and Hell yah

I was so glad I was sitting next to another Naruto fan in the theatre. Otherwise I probably would have explained the entire curse-seal plot to my other friend who would have nodded and smiled and said that I was quite simply crazy :D
