Hoooookay. So. Here I am, starting up my fic request thing again. I got a request for SasuNaru, so I -finally- got around to writing it. Yay!
Also, if you want a fic to be written, on ANY pairing, say so. I will -try- to write it. Some pairings are fighting me tooth and nail.

Rating: G. Dude, I -never- write G fics.
Warning: Fluff. and Sap. I feel ashamed.
Apologies for any OOCness, please tell and I will remedy.
Onward!

(Pssst. comment. review. you know you want to)

“Sasuke, what are you doing?”

“Shut up and follow me.”

Naruto became even more skeptical, but kept on following Sasuke, curious as to their destination. Sasuke rarely did anything with him, and he was wary of Sasuke taking him to an undisclosed location to do hell-knows-what. They finally broke through the forest into a clearing, and Naruto’s eyes widened.

“Whoa...”

Naruto ran past Sasuke, and looked around. Inside the forest, there was a small clearing, just enough to see the stars through the thick canopy, just enough for a small spring-fed lake to form. Naruto was grinning wildly and ran out onto the water before flopping down on it, allowing himself to rest on the water as if on a bed, and stared up at the stars. There was usually so much light in Konoha that it was hard to see the stars correctly, and whenever they were out this far, they were usually on missions and unable to relax enough to look at the stars. He chuckled lightly and began to trace out the constellations using his finger.

Sasuke watched Naruto, and felt a strange stirring in his chest. Naruto always experienced things so completely, with such abandon that it was...endearing. Which was one of the reasons why he had brought the blonde out here. He wanted him alone. Wanted them to be alone.

“Be careful, dobe. The water’s cold, and with your poor excuse for chakra control, you’ll probably fall in.”

“WHAT!”

Naruto shot onto his feet and, in his anger, forgot to keep the chakra flow steady to his feet.

So he promptly fell in.

He clambered out of the spring, sputtering water and insults to an impassive Sasuke, who merely watched him with a smirk on his face.

“You’re such an asshole,” Naruto growled.

Sasuke decided not to honor such a retort with a reply. A damp Naruto looked, in a mildly disturbing way, immensely attractive.

“I come here sometimes, when the memories and the girls get to be too much.”

“Memories? Girls?” Naruto was perplexed and interested, so he hopped off of the water and went over to Sasuke, looking at him curiously.

“What do you mean?”

“Dobe.”

Naruto bristled. “Fine! Sorry for asking!” He crossed his arms, and then became suspicious. “Why’d you bring here anyway?”

“It’s something precious to me.”

That confused Naruto even more. If this place was precious to Sasuke, and Sasuke was showing it to him, did that mean that he was precious to Sasuke?

Nah.

Naruto shrugged and flopped down on the ground, stretching out, water from his jacket spilling off onto the ground, the fabric sticking to his form. Sasuke’s eyes wandered briefly before he sat down next to the blonde and looked up at the stars. The initially uneasy silence drifted into a more companionable one, and even though neither one said anything to the other, the both left at the same time.

It had been good, in Sasuke’s mind, for a first date.
