NARUTO MOVIE 2009: THOSE WHO INHERIT THE WILL OF FIRE

It is that time again, my friends, where we gather around and listen to stories of the will of fire. Oh yes.

It is time for a report on the new Naruto Shippuuden movie! This movie, as promised, has the entire rookie nine plus Team Gai, and lots of Kakashi. It’s truly a very well put together All Cast movie, and I was super pleased with it. Seriously, we left the theater saying that every year we complain about how lame such and such was, this year we had very little to complain about.

How could I complain, my favorite characters are in this movie? 8D

Spoilers abound, even in the cast list there may be some (for who is in it, anyway, and in the case of two, what their role sort of was). Pretty light in the cast list, but if you are SUPER SENSATIVE then yeah, don’t look.

For those wondering who makes appearances, Here’s the list:

Things that happen in this movie you should be aware of: There are copious amounts of flashbacks, rocks falling, the near start of Great Ninja War 4, gay (and when I say that, for a change I REALLY DO MEAN THAT, it’s not a joke), a Gary Stu that wasn’t really all that Gary Stu-ish (at least not overbearingly so, just challenging enough to be a problem), and a woman with amazingly jiggly breasts that needed more screen time. Hey, they were pretty awesome!

So, this year, five crazy English teachers descended upon the Osaka theater to discover the wonders and joys of the Will of Fire. 8D

Warning: Some of this may be remembered out of order! I started this two days after I saw it, and then have been on vacation all month, writing this when I have free time. It’s long, but as blow by blow as I could get, since it’ll still be awhile until it gets released on DVD.

( THIS MOVIE IS A FLASHBACK. But we have Kakashi, so it’s all good. Also, this is really long. )

Okay, so, that was a lot of tl;dr. If you’ve read that. . . dear God, you deserve a medal. However, all I can offer is my thoughts on yaoi on the movie, and pictures of posts that are yet to come. (There’s been some really cool Naruto themed events this August, so yes, there are pictures)
