HAY HIDAN U LOOK KINDA KEWL! So we get to see Asuma strut his stuff, Shikamaru goes scared, and Hidan looks like Skeletor! All in all, it's a good, action packed chapter- with enough Hidan to service some fangirls to boot.

I love Kakuzu. His entrance rocked. I think because Hidan is very flashy and funny, Kakuzu has not had enough of the spotlight. That's not to say Hidan isn't great, because he is, but because Kakuzu isn't a pretty boy (like Kisame and Sasori initially got ignored in favour of their partners) he's getting ignored a bit. I think that's how the fandom mind works... But he'll have his time in the sun to show us all what he can do. >:)

I tend to like obscure characters myself (I don't find Deidara endearing, honestly. XD) and the only reason Kakuzu didn't garner much of my attention was because of his money-obsession. XD BUT, the dynamics in his partnership with Hidan are amusing to no end, so he's climbing up the favourites list for me. ♥

And YES, I can't wait to see Kakuzu's moves. And I'd die of happy if Kakuzu and Hidan had a jutsu they could do together. Make use of the partnership, no?

But you must admit 99% of people polled did find Deidara endearing...XD (But he's most endearing with his partner. And I don't mean Tobi!!!)

I love Kakuzu's money grabbing antics (Hidan is keeping him out of this fight by promising him the bounty! Oh Hidan, you sure know how to be persuasive! XD). I have never seen any shinobi quite so motivated by money before, but it's obviously not his sole motivation; I want to know why he keeps warning Hidan to watch himself (not as sure as Hidan is, quite clearly) and how many partners of his have needed replacing until Sir Leader found one he couldn't break!

This chapter has been fantastic. I want to see Shikamaru prove himself... and maybe Asuma, too. Maybe he can redeem himself from the absolute ownage Itachi gave him and Kurenai. According to what Asuma has gotten away with though so far, it seems Hidan would be much weaker than Itachi though. I'm curious as to where and what business Oro and Sasuke has with Akatsuki because now that Akatsuki is getting most of the page time in these new story arcs, I'm curious for Sasuke's return again. I doubt he'll take up his business with Itachi, but... I'm hoping any chapter now Sasuke is seen. I definitely see Asuma dying, but I'm just hoping it isn't the case. I'm wondering so many things that can be wrong, and seem too obvious. I HATE WAITING A WEEK BUT MAN DOES ANTICIPATION HELP ME INDULGE EVEN MORE-SO IN EACH WEEKS MANGA!

Oh... and Kakuzu's appearance was absolutely awesome. Just from that silent, empty scene, I fell in love with him for a moment. In my head I saw that scene with Shikamaru as the anime, and had music in my head and the reaction he would have made... is that sad? Lol. I keep reference things to the anime... I guess because I miss it since I haven't watched it in soooooo long 'cuz fillers stink to me. MUST SEE ANIMATED KAZEKAGE.
