To all Hinata cosplayers, can you recommend me a good website that sells affordable Byakugan contacts?

As time-skip Hinata will be one of my cosplays for next year's Fanime, I was looking at these ones, but I am open to other suggestions.

I use zombies - which look about the same as the ones you are looking at. I get them in person so can not recommend a certain site

http://www.visiondirect.com/qxp90935_333181_sespider/soft_lens_technology/zombie_white_out.htm if that link works

There is also the activated Byakugan - http://www.1-save-on-lens.com/cgi/saveonlens.cgi?d=gothika_HNeji seen it cheaper but this was first place pulled it up on

I agree.. a light grey/lavender natural-looking contact will look better than a plain white one.

It makes it look like something went wrong with the camera and it blanked out your eyes or something, if you know what I mean. :'/

Hmm... :'/ I use this website (http://www.circlelens2u.com/147_Nudy-Golden-Blue.html) for circle lenses... I'm not sure how well they'll do for byakugan, but I think it probably depends on your eye color. The blue I have doesn't show up from far away, but my eyes are very dark. ._.

there are some colors on the website you linked, other than those plain white ones. Gray/Lavender sort of colors on there should work...?

Hmm, i'm not 100% sure whether they will look good. You could try them out, but flat white tends to give a really creepy sort of look.

if you look at this image (http://i28.tinypic.com/2vajztg.jpg) and this image (http://i28.tinypic.com/2114bgl.jpg), the eye color is a light grey with natural-looking gradients. these (http://i28.tinypic.com/ta1ljc.png) are kinda similar to the ones you've linked and I find that they make her look a little scary, as cute as she is... D:

The more patterns there are on the lens itself the better, i think... but i didn't use lenses when I cosplayed Hinata, so I can't really say until I repeat the cosplay with them on... ^^;

While yes, Hinata is supposed to look creepy and cute at the same time, I don't think she's meant to look too much like a zombie... XD I wish I'd had the courage to get lenses for my first Hinata, so I hope you do it either way :)

The only trouble with the activated byakugan is that you can't reuse them for other characters... and when you make an investment in contacts, you'll want to use them as much as possible. If you're planning to do Hinata a lot, or other versions/other hyuuga, go for it if you want to. I still say you ought to go for a pale natural-looking color (that's the same as the Neji I linked), but the pattern on the activated byakugan will be better than the original pearl whites. I'm worried that the ones you're choosing will make your eyes look flat, but if you want the creepy-cute look it might just work. :'/

good luck though, and don't stress about it too much xDDD i'm sure it'll be fine~
