Naruto Goes to the Olympics

I just kind of find this funny: So during Beach Volleyball, they usually play a mix of songs in the background - not full songs, just bits and pieces interspersed by short periods of silence. Anyway, I nearly peed myself for some reason when, during the Women's Brazil vs. Mexico match, I heard them play not only a bit of Raising Fighting Spirit, but just now they played a bit of Strong and Strike too. I guess I shouldn't be too surprised, since I imagine Naruto's popular in China too but still I just thought it was cool.

<3 The beach volleyball stadium officially had the best music; I caught caramelldansen, the Numa Numa song, and a bunch of other truly random songs all over the place. It was great. Plus a bunch of techno and rock music.

Yeah, "Liberi Fatali" from Final Fnatasy VIII was played in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, during the women's synchronized swimming event.

Guess you just can't escape pulp culture. xD
