Favourite moments: Obviously, the Naruto/Sasuke fight where Sasuke leaves Konoha; the flashbacks to Haku and Zabuza and their death; the flashback where Deidara was manipulated by Itachi and joined Akatsuki; anything with a lot of Kimimaro, Deidara, or Hidan in it, really.
Anime, manga, or both?: Both! Though Shippuden got pretty disappointing at one point, in my opinion. D:.

What's in your journal?: I talk a lot about my fandoms (mostly anime, films, books, and bands), whatever anime I am watching at the moment, my day to day life, my friends, and whatever thoughts I might be having at that time. Oh! And I do memes as well, though not an obnoxious amount.
Friending policy?: All I ask is that you have a genuine interest in being a friend and not keep me on your list just to make it larger. Talk to me somehow, whether it be through comments or IM or anything! I want to actually communicate with the people who add me.
Anything else?: Keep in mind that I'm a real person with real emotions. Sometimes I'm really happy, other times I'm really upset. My posts will reflect that, so if that bothers you, you might not want to add me.

Favourite moments: The only moment that comes to mind is a bit obscure and ridiculous, but I got all happy inside when Pein showed up right as Konan got sprayed with oil and told her to stand back. I'm sure he did it for different reasons, but I like to think it's because he's protective over her.
Anime, manga, or both?: Manga, definitely. Though I'll most certainly start watching the anime again once Hidan shows up.

Favourite characters: Sasuke Uchiha/Naruto Uzumaki. Itachi is a close second and then there's Young!NOT-an-evil-Bastard!Orochimaru. In that order.
Favourite episode: ...I didnt finish watching the anime because after Sasuke left... the show just wasnt the same. and it hurt to watch Naruto .-. but I cant choose between just ONE episode, or one ARC for that matter because Waves!Arc and Chuunin!Exams and Valley of the End were really big and had the most Sasuke/Naruto interaction.
Favorite moments: ...too many to count. when Naruto Catches Sasuke as he's falling [waves arc], when Naruto stands before Orochimaru's huge-ass snake and asks Sasuke's if he's a afraid [Chuunin exams], when Sasuke falls to his knee's in the rain and gazes at Naruto with nothing and so much happening all at once. Anime, manga, or both?: ...both have their charm, but they also have their downsides and this series takes too long to get to the good stuff *dies*

Other major fandoms: I just got out of Fullmetal Alchemist. I'm a one-fandom-at-a-time-only sort, so while I can like many series simultaneously, I'll only participate in a "fandom" for one of them at any given time (meaning I'll only produce or seek out fan works for one series while I'm into it).

NARUTO
Favourite characters: Gaara+the Sand siblings, the Akatsuki but particularly Pein and Konan, Naruto, Sakura, Shikamaru . . . but really, I think there's something to like about almost everyone in Naruto! Even the characters I hate (MADARA, most recently) are fun to pick on in cracky ways. Naruto is the first fandom I've been in where, really, almost anything can be made into a positive for me.
Favourite episode: The very end of the chuunin exam . . . episode 80, I believe. Damn. I watched the episodes one by one, many in a row, and the pressure and tension were just building and building for me. When everything finally came to a climax, I was like, goddamn! If I smoked, I'd seriously need a cigarette after that. No other episode has been quite as much of a tension reliever for me. I guess it had something to do with the sheer amount of build-up throughout the whole exam arc -- everything from Orochimaru's invasion of Konoha to Gaara's intense story. I'm hoping the end of the Akatsuki/Madara story will give me a similar kind of cathartic release.
Favourite moments: I love all the moments that have made me teary-eyed. Haku's death scene, Gaara's backstory, Kakashi's backstory, a lot of the Rescue Gaara arc, the story of the weeping country and Yahiko+Nagato+Konan, the arc with Asuma, Shikamaru, Hidan, and Kakuzu.
Anime, manga, or both?: I used to watch the anime, but once I got to the fillers, I started reading the manga online at onemanga.com and I've not looked back since. I really should work my way through Shippuden and skip the fillers there, too, now that I'm all caught up on the manga, but after growing accustomed to the manga, I'm finding a lot of the noise and dragged out stuff in the anime kind of hard to tolerate. That being said, I do give the anime credit for fleshing some of the minor characters (Sasori, for instance) out a little more.

What's in your journal?: I talk about my con experiences -- I'm about to do a rather long post on this subject. I talk about my school and my real life, some. I make song rec posts from time to time. I blather about Naruto and Naruto meta. I recommend fics/art/AMVs, etc.
Friending policy?: Pretty lax. I do tend to defriend people who defriend me, but that's not a hostile act so much as it is a matter of reciprocity.
Anything else?: I don't mind other people having different tastes. I'd like to think I'm pretty amicable to people who see things in other lights. I love debate and discussion. META is crucial to my fandom experience.

Naruto's epic to speech to Orchimaru about how Sasuke isn't his, and his rant about how Sasuke > Sai to Sakura. The Valley of the End, the Deidara-Sasuke fight, pretty much everytime Sai appears (he cracks me up) Sakura and Ino's past, Naruto's training with Yamato, the Minato-Kushina-Jiraiya flashbacks, everytime Naruto beats some sense into someone, the Konoha's Sports Festival... there are too many.
Anime, manga, or both?: Both. But keep the (animated) Rescue Gaara arc AWAY FROM ME.

Favourite characters: Itachi, Orochimaru, Shikamaru, Pein and Konan, Team 7 (and Neo Team 7), Akatsuki in general, Seven-year old Sasuke... More Itachi. >.>

Favourite episode: I've actually not seen many. XP I've only watched 81-85 (Itachi/Kisame fight Asu/Kure/Kaka) and 90-92 (Tsunade/Orochimaru). Those were fairly decent. I AM excited, however, for the Hidan/Kakuzu arc, because that is my favorite arc in the manga and I'd love to see it animated!

Favourite moments: The part where Orochimaru is all, 'I didn't mean to hurt you,' to Tsunade, in the Recruit Tsunade arc, Gaara's 'You can't defeat loneliness' dialogue, most of the Sakura-centric chapters, the entirety of the Asuma and Shikamaru arc, the part where Shikamaru talks to Naruto about growing up. Pein/Konan backstory is also beautiful, as were the snippets of mini!Orochimaru. I also liked the Sasuke and Itachi flashback arc, but after seeing the same flashback every time Sasuke started reminiscing, even I am tired of it. :F

What's in your journal?: Nothing good, I'm sure. Fan fiction, fandom squee/ramblings/meta, fic recs, and come September, school. XP
Friending policy?: Fairly lax. Though I generally don't friend back unless you actually talk to me (via AIM or LJ comments, whatever) and say, "Hey! I want to be your friend. Let's talk!" Otherwise, I just assume you want to watch--for whatever reason.
Anything else?: I like reading fic, writing fic, and talking fic. I mostly read/talk about Itachi, but so long as you don't mind THAT I love talking about everyone else, too!
