Chapter 414

This chapter reminded me of why I like Sasuke. I never hated him, like so many have, I just was incredibly frustrated with his decisions. But now, finally, at long last, there is a hint - the barest hint - of remorse. Am I the only one who semi-enjoyed seeing Sasuke get his butt kicked well and good? I don't want him to die, but I was cheering on Killerbee for awhile there. ^_^ But then that little bit of remorse peeked through and now I want Sasuke to win for the first time in a long time.

And Naruto getting the hang of the Sage thing! Yay! I can't wait to see where Kishimoto takes this.

Sorry, nothing real intelligent here. Just wanted to squee a bit.

It's really strange because although I share your sentiment on wanting to bitch-slap Sasuke and it was nice to see him get the smack down for a change, at the same time I want to hide him in fluffy bed blankets and feed him soup. It's not his fault he's all kinds of fucked up in the head. It seems that my love/hate relationship scale has tilted in Sauce-Cakes favor...for now.

That's why I said from time to time, other times I just want to hug him tightly and growl at anyone that comes near with harmful intentions... but I am sure he won't appreciate that, whether the bitch-slap or the hug/growl thing :P

Sasuke is, like, my third favourite character, and/but I always squeel in joy when he gets owned. And I'm super-duper happy that he will re-realize how important teamwork is, and the fact that he flashbacked team 7 made me fly from joy.

It's hard to remember that they're all only 15 going on 16. Hell even reading you're comment and knowing their ages myself I still got shocked a bit getting reminded after this chapter.

I think we all tend to forget that while seeing them face challenges that people shouldn't face unless well into adulthood. The truth is though, is that while being a teenager does affect their decision making skills by itself, their morals are also affected by the factors of ophanhood and being legally able to kill someone at the age of 12.

They grow up and become psychotic so fast these days :'D

Sasuke is my favorite character in Naruto fandom, I find his personality rather interesting and I actually enjoy if not understand his angsty feelings. Yet sometimes I just feel the need to slap some reality into his mind, even if I'm usually over protective towards him. And actually seeing him admitting his bonds with team Hebi and proving genuine nostalgy/remorse of his "old" friends, well it made me smile. There is no need for words, just for feelings. It was about time, isn't it? :]

I was sooo glad that he was getting his ass kicked. He's been so arrogant lately, and the plot has constantly been portraying him as some unbeatable god of a 15 year old. It was nice to see something put him in his place and have him realize he isn't the most fucking powerful.

I must say that these latest chapters are rekindling my Sasuke love. When he left the village, I was so upset and I haven't felt the same about him since but seeing him trying to take care of his team and mostly, that flashback to Team 7, I just wanted to magically teleport him somewhere safe and hug him to bits. This is what I've been waiting for!

Yeah right! Sasuke annoys the hell out of me when he's in 'Lone Avenger Mode'... whiny brat... and because it annoys me how he's depicted as so cool... (and because he's everywhere on fandom too)

So yes, I like it when he got his ass beaten.

BUT yeah, when he shows that he cares for other, I can't stay mad at him! He'll never be my favorite character but I can sympatize.

But damn I hope they won't kill Killerbee! I LUV the guy!

Something I wanted to mention...
I'm the only one who notices the OBVIOUS resemblance between the now little Juugo and Yahiko?
I mean, I once saw a fan comic making fun of this resemblance, but now it doesn't sounds as such a weird idea... Even if one of the Pein guys looks like him too.

Poor Sasuke, there's really no escaping from bonds, is there? But no matter how messed up his life is, he is lucky where his teams are concerned, whether it's Team 7 or Hebi.
