Yeah, which is why I think it's somewhat fitting/ironic that his brother, who didn't really do anything wrong per se, now has his ass in the fire with Akatsuki, much the same as Hiashi was forced to give up his brother to Kumogakure because they tried to kidnap Hinata and their "representative" was killed.

Makes me hope that Neji/the Hyuuga gets some retribution in here SOMEWHERE.

Don't blame him, though. He just had someone rip his throat and chest open, then discovered (to his abject horror, no doubt) that he actually gives a shit about the people he is surrounded with (and some he was surrounded with?). He probably felt he deserved a stiff drink, in light of the "Ima gonna kill alla Konoha nao X3" thing.

Been a while for me and that story arc... but IIRC, wasn't it that the Raikage and village had cooked the entire thing up to get their mitts on a Hyuuga? Then, after Hiashi caught them and made with the killin', they sort of kicked and screamed and yelled about war until Konoha kinda went 'OK NO WAR PLZ' and Hizashi volunteered himself to shut the lightning village up and prevent the war.

Which just makes it EXTRA amusing that Sasuke has now, effectively, STARTED A WAR AGAIN. (Or, to be exact- Madara has. But people are always telling me that Sassyface is the real brains in that operation and the one pulling all the strings, so yeah- SAUCECAKES STARTED A WAR. *nods*)

I'm so proud of him! :D He's all grown up now and making all kinds of trouble.

And hell, after a busy day of war-startin', seems like he deserves a drink or two.
