New opening an ending tonight!

So hey, I'm not doing a Shippuuden report tonight (I do plan to do them again, but I've been really busy since I moved), I thought I'd let y'all know about the new OP and ED.

So, some mild spoilers for what's going on in the anime.



The new op is really cute, I like the song. :3 It is very Team Asuma focused, and the beginning even makes Shikamaru pretty central. Of course, he is rather central to the rest of the plot. :D

So there is a lot of good footage of all the teams, Team Gai, Team Kurenai, Team Asuma. . . . What's really fun is seeing the credits roll with Sakura thinking of Tsunade, Team Asuma with the background of Sandaime's head from Hokage mountain, and then Naruto thinking of Sasuke naked.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

This opening is a lot less "HEY GUYS, THIS SHOW IS ABOUT NARUTO'S UNDYING LOVE FOR SASUKE" then the last one (YAY!), and we also get to see OMG Pein's lower face and Tobi and Deidara get good headshots as well. (YAYAYAYA TOBI!!!)

A lot of the shots are recycled from the last OP, not that I blame them entirely, but boo. I always look forward to new op animations!


random spoiler from the episode: Konoha thinks Deidara is dead. XDDDD Well, I guess by the time they'd have seen him again, he will be. . . .

This gets so edited, and rather lamely. They never show directly that Hidan's head is severed, though it is QUITE OBVIOUSLY seperate from his body.

Also: Shikamaru talks wayyyy too freaking much. And Hidan? Is hot and hilarious. XDDDD










The end theme is pretty sweet and sad guys. While the episode was pretty drawn out and I spent a lot of it ignoring Shikamnaru's blahblahblah, this was good.

It starts out with a pinwheel, and Kurenai looking emo. There is one shot of Naruto and Shikamaru (and another guy it looks, but I couldn't see who), and then shots of Ino, Sakura and Kurenai looking out windows looking emo. Well, imo, Kurenai has a reason. D:

Asuma and Kurenai are holding hands, and he disappeares, and is walkign away over a bridge. Really symbolic and sweet, and she watched him walk away while holding a pinwheel.

Guys, this was my ship. Bless, it has the best end theme ever.

Yes! Sorry. XDDD I originally stopped cause I was REALLY bored of making fun of Sora et all, and then I moved and ahaha. My new school actually makes me work, which is GREAT, but it leaves me tired and bahhh, I always feel so busy. /o/ I am moved, but my house still has boxes in every room, the only place fully unpacked is my kitchen.

HAHAHA I know. D: I mean, for filler the story was pretty good (and was waaaayyyy more sensical then the Bleach filler where even Ichigo was like "WTF HAPPENED TO MEXICO AND THE ESPADA? WHY AM I IN JAPAN? WHAT? AHHHH!!" >> Yeeeeaaaahhhh. . . Naruto's wierd ass filler, while hilarious, was at least logical. In that ninja go on missions. \(*_*)/

I've seen the episode, the opening is nice but standard! ^^
