Nov. 18th, 2008 12:36 amHola,
I have a question. I'm helping this lovely lady start making merchandise related to anime, and am doing a bit or research.
Her prices range from $50 for a waist cincher, to $350 or more (Depending on how complicated they are) for the full dresses, and this is quality made stuff. I have a few Naruto themed ideas, such as tweaked Akatsuki robes, a reversible Naruto/Sasuke one with the emblems on the back, and one with just the waist cincher turning into the skirt that mimic a nine tails pattern (Not necessarily Naruto specific, but still inspired by this fandom) as well as few other designs.
My question is, if you saw something like this at a con, would you be interested? And if you were interested would it be a "Buy it at the con" type thing, or at "I might save up for one" type thing or a "I would just bask in them for a few moment and move on" type thing.

And also, her period dress that she's made is beautiful.

Date: 2008-11-18 09:49 pm (UTC)The regular waist cincher/skirt combos are $75-$125 I believe, so I'd imagine it'd be a bit more, depending on the effort to make the nails tails, and make them neatly. (Thus far that is just an idea in my sketch book) If you'd like to shoot me an e-mail, or a pm or friend me or something, I can try to ping you if/when we have anything made up.
And I will pass that along! ♥
