Two things (not strictly related to my fanart, but anyhow):
It's my personal belief that for anything more than Kakashi stalking Iruka to happen Iruka would have to take the initiative because our dear silver haired Jounin is just too socially inept to figure it out...

And an explanation for those who goes like "OMG ur sooo stoopid! Iruka isn't ANBU": In my personal fanon Iruka is really an undercover ANBU assigned to the Ninja Academy as a Chuunin sometime after the Uchiha Clan Massacre to keep an eye on the clans (since it is a well known fact children doesn't censor their speech the way adults do).
