RE-OPENING - PLAYERS WANTED!

THE STORY

The story opens with Uchiha Sasuke attacking Konoha in revenge for the path forced on his brother, Itachi. The Konoha shinobi manage to push Sasuke and his team back into retreat, but their attack on Konoha will leave enough damage to the village that rumors will be spread of Konohagakure becoming weak. Surrounding enemy villages will begin to make plans to attack and try to take over the illustrious Fire Country, which will result in another great ninja war blooming among the nations. Konoha’s most dangerous enemy is the Sound Village, who are being led by Kabuto. He is slowly facing the consequences of injecting himself with Orochimaru’s DNA all those years ago. Kabuto's body is slowly being taken over by Orochimaru, cell by cell. Eventually, he will succumb to the Sannin’s domination, and Orochimaru will rise again. Orochimaru’s plan is to release the contained demons that were collected by the long dead Akatsuki group. As soon as he finds a way to release the malicious demons into chosen containers, the Kabuto/Orochimaru hybrid plans on unleashing all eight demons on the Fire Country. They do not forget, however, that Konoha has a living, fearless demon container, who is willing to die for his beloved village. Wanting all of the power, Orochimaru will put a bounty out on Uzumaki Naruto in hopes of obtaining all of the demons, and having complete power in their hands. Konoha will have to deal with attacks both on the village alone, and also on Naruto. With the council dead from Sasuke's attack on the village, Konoha's entire weight now solely rests on Tsunade's shoulders. With the growing threat rising in the horizon, Tsunade will be taking precautions and that includes grooming who might be able to take her place if she doesn't make it out of the upcoming war alive. She knows her duty and what she must do. Konoha's only hope is to retrieve Sasuke so that Sasuke can control the Kyuubi if Naruto is left no choice of unleashing the Kyuubi’s full power. Nothing is certain, and as the war progresses, the village of Konoha and the people residing in it begin to suffer. The richness of Konoha will dwindle, and some ninja defect and move on to find another life. Times will be hard, and there will be many changes. There will be bloodshed, reunions, justice, and absolution. Old bonds will be reformed, and new bonds will take root. Some friendships will be severed by bitter betrayal. The Konoha shinobi will be tested in both mind, body, and spirit. Will they be able to defeat Orochimaru and his Sound shinobi? Only fate knows. Note: Unlike other RPs, Forbidden Skies will have a person who will play “fate”. Meaning, this person will flip a coin in regard to who dies, and who the one traitor among the village will be. This person will be hand chosen and cannot be applied for. Even the Mods want to be kept in the dark. It makes things more interesting. Also, if for some reason this storyline is seen to the very end, suggestions will be taken for a new storyline.
