I've just remembered reading a ShikaNeji fic, where at some point Neji was in trouble/about to be executed or something, and Shikamaru, by then considered the tactical genius of Konoha, sent him to Suna to keep safe, and made Temari keep him there.
Also, would like ShikaNeji fanfic recs, if possible? Thanks!
