somarium: introduction

What's this? You thought you had only just gone to sleep, but now when you look around you're in a little village. And you have no memory of how you got here. There are some odd things about this place you're in, too... this looks like an antique little village, but aren't those skyscrapers in the background? Why is there nobody around? And is that scarecrow really moving? Welcome to Somarium, a multifandom RP set inside a dream world. The first time a character enters Somarium, a "dream self" is created, which has all the memories and characteristics of their real self. However, after the dream self is created, it is disconnected from the real self -- it will not gain any new memories, no matter what happens in the real world. In other words, you will bring in a character from a point in their canon, and they will have no knowledge of anything that happens in canon after that point. Sorry, no original characters are allowed. Posts can be made in either first or third person. There are also several unique features in the world of Somarium, such as shops that characters can create through their journals, communication through a cellphone like device called a Dreamberry that allows you to record, broadcast, and view dreams, and much more. But don't think it's just a place where characters just run around amok. As the characters interact with one another and explore, they have chances to learn more about what happened to the world, and who the ghosts that appear at random are. You're in the dream now, and there's no escaping it. Enjoy your stay, and watch out for the rabbits.

The Naruto cast at somarium is looking for characters to join and have some fun! We are looking for good players, serious writers -- people who know proper characterization, know their canon, and are willing to commit some time to have a whole lot of fun in a dream world!

Currently, the cast is composed of post-time skip/current Kakashi, Sasuke, Ino, Neji, and Yondaime! (We also have Asuma, Lee, Shikamaru, and Deidara coming along the way!)

Characters who are currently in very large demand include: Post-timeskip Naruto, Sakura, Itachi, Pein, Might Gai, Kurenai, Hinata, Kiba, Shino, Orochimaru, Tsunade, Jiraiya, Team Hebi/Taka, and the rest of Akatsuki.

At the present point in the game, Kakashi has been convincing everyone that the world of Somarium is actually the afterlife, especially after meeting Yondaime! He has no idea how wrong he is. If you are someone who likes to RP, definitely come and check out this game!
