Summary: After Danzou has become Hokage of Konoha, Naruto has to leave the village. Sasuke, on the other hand, is forced by his team to find some legendary Blessed Realm. Both parties meet in a town that is familiar to us, but rather strange to our young ninjas, who suddenly find themselves confronted with modern world politics and modern world morality, including the acceptance of homosexuality.
Warning: the story has become extremely long by now... Most people prefer the romance which you find in the first half of the story. The second half is more about political matters.
The story was suggested ("prenominated") for the Ficcy-Awards at fanfiction.net in a couple of categories (best slash story, best slash romance story, best overall long story, best long Narutoverse story). Officially the time for suggesting stories for the competition is over, but if I were them I'd extend the prenomination time. They haven't written about this, however, and neither have they announced their way of deciding which story will make it to the real nominations.
