A NEJI/LEE SHIP MANIFESTO

After falling head over heels for this pairing in the past three months, I realised the fandom for it is almost non-existent, and gradually, the idea for this manifesto was born. It started out really as a way for me to sort out my thoughts about the pairing, but the more I thought about it the more I had to write and this is how it turned out in the end. Frankly speaking, I'm not sure how well this manifesto would be received considering the relative obscurity of this pairing and the decline of LJ as a fandom hotspot, but I've decided to go ahead and post it anyway. Of course, this is by no means the only interpretation of their relationship, but if you love Neji or Lee, or if you are simply curious about how they can work together, please be my guest ♥

Note: This manifesto only covers the canon events pre-timeskip (up to Chapter 238) except for an addendum at the end that addresses the latest turn of events in Chapters 616 and 617. Spoilers are marked for the benefit of those who have not caught up yet.
