Thanks for the compliment XD I actually bought the mask in Kyoto ^^;; But for some people who made it, papier mache worked quite well... and plaster, if you're up for it :)

Oh, was yours made of some elasticy cloth? I've been thinking about just looking for that kind of fabric and making it for my friend. Yipes, the papier mache and plaster ideas sound a tad uncomfortable. o_O But thanks for the suggestions! ^^

My vest? No, it was a very thick and coarse fabric--kind of like one of a sweater but only different lol.

Oh wait a moment, I'm retarded. Hahaha. *slaps forehead* I just realized the source of confusion! I wasn't talking about the ANBU mask. I meant to ask about the what you covered your face with in the last picture (kinda like Kakashi's mask) ^^; See, I'm trying to help my friend with his Kakashi cosplay, and we still can't figure out a good way to do his mask.

So yeah, how'd you do it? ^^ Did you just pull up the fabric of the top you were wearing under the vest?

Believe it or not, I used socks Stockings and things were too see-through, and your face woudl look plastered down underneath is (i tried it lol), so it's best if you find a nice pair of thin, cotton socks. Cut a hole in it, and since it should be very elastic, it should conform to your chin as well as your neck so it doesnt look baggy like alot of people make it look.
