Cosplaying is fun.
And geeky. And slightly frightening. I have plenty of convention horror stories about dressing as Orochimaru, who isn't even -popular-.
Some guy came up to me and started rubbing my wig all over his face and smelling it and saying "I love you". o___O

That's why you need to cosplay with guys who are taller and looks like they're more than happy to kick any one's face in if anybody harrasses you. Creepy things only happened to me when I go off on my own, so I sorta learned early to stick to groups.
