Doesn't look like it! Yuura sort of went in the right direction, but for the wrong team...d'oh! Seems it's all up to Chiyo. It's cheeky of Temari and Baki not to go (you can kind of understand Kankurou not being there as he was horribly poisoned and is kind of in recovery).

Heh. Imagining is all Neji is going to get. >:)

Gai and Kakashi do seem to be getting ready to do just that! XD But first, they still have to get past the front door.....

Temari really wanted to go, but she was told to stay and "Guard the border". I guess they're low on men after Akatasuki's attack(Sasori sliced up a canyon-full and Deidara 'sploded some other ones' heads), but it still seems kind of lame of them to rely almost entirely on the Leaf. :P

I'm curious about whether they'll use force or brains to open the door. Speak friend and enter, maybe?

Yeah, Sand have been down on their luck for a bit. :( And Sasori may yet have other subordinates within the walls.

I think it's going to have to be brains. Kakashi sealed Sasuke's curse seal, and Chiyo sealed the Shukaku, I believe, and Gai is...well...it's Gai! XD So I am sure between the three of them they can sort this seal out. Unless of course (as Sir Leader is complaining about the noise, and his muse must not be disturbed, the Akatsuki decide to send a welcoming committee...:)

Sasori is a puppet master, and seems to be a master of poisons(he is a scorpion, after all :P). Maybe the reason these people serve him is because of special serum he injected into them(with his tail, maybe)? Chiyo said she couldn't believe that Yuura would serve as a spy, he didn't seem to know of his connection with Sasori until the attack began, and I don't think they would've given up their lives for the sacrifices as willingly as Zaku and Kin.

So, what if the poison he injected in Kankurou was just a cover up? An undetectable toxin that works like Orochimaru's curse seal - permanently affecting the person's chakra in order to control the mind and body. I don't think they even showed his attacks, it just flashed from the tail grabbing Karasu to Kankurou lying on the ground. If Kankurou died, it'd be no skin off his back, but if he lived, Sasori would have a talented servant.

Or maybe I'm just thinking too hard. :P

Well, one thing I think for sure is that Yuura and his unfortunate friend - does Guy who got Eaten by Zetsu have a name? - weren't willing sacrifices. I think Sir Leader chose them, and Sasori was quite pissy about it. It was a bit of a revealing moment about Sasori for me, it was a little glimpse into some of the stuff he's a bit terratorial over privately. He was tetchy about Akatsuki taking his resources.^^

He seems independent-minded. He just sat back while Deidara did his own thing, and just told Itachi of all people to suck it.

I wonder, did he mean he would kill Naruto or take the Kyuubi for his own? He's pretty annoyed about not being able to find a Jinchuuriki.

Yes, and he didn't bother with an honorific when talking to Itachi either (Sir Leader doesn't bother with them either...).

That something was going to happen to Itachi's jinchuuriki in the coming battle was certainly the implication. :) I think Itachi was mildly pissed off. :D I love Sasori danna!

Actually he's saying オッス!! which is o-tsu-su, or OSSU!! Kind of like "YES SIR!!"

I have trouble telling ッ from ツ from シ too, they look way too similiar. ^^;

Naruto was looking awfully feral when he showed up. That's quite a departure from the happy dude that gave him the Beat down of Light during the chuunin exams.

Neji hasn't seen Naruto in two and a half years and then he shows up when there are too many people around for Neji to properly sex him looking like that.
