A carefully formulated list of all possible future occurrences in the series—also known as crack theories…

Just wanted to share.



Sasuke will…

1. Stay evil and…

a. Follow in Orochimaru’s footsteps and try to destroy Konoha
b. Follow in Orochimaru’s footsteps and grow a long tongue and become a creepy child molester
c. Follow in Itachi’s footsteps and work for the Akatsuki
d. Go off on his own and become the most evil villain in the history of the world
e. Try to kill Naruto and succeed
f. Try to kill Naruto and fail
g. Try to kill Itachi and succeed
h. Try to kill Itachi and fail
i. Will be killed by the protagonists



2. Get his ass kicked by Naruto and return to Konoha and resume life as a ninja on the “good side” and…

a. Help kill Orochimaru/Itachi/Some other villain
b. Sacrifice himself to save Naruto/Someone Else important
c. Try to kill Itachi and succeed
d. Try to kill Itachi and fail
e. Become Hokage (?)


3. Get his ass kicked by Naruto and return to Konoha and…

a. Suffer extreme consequences
b. Be executed
c. Suffers some punishments but eventually returns to regular ninja duties

4. Was never really evil and attacks/kills Orochimaru when his guard is down

5. Was evil but changed his mind and attacks/kills Orochimaru


More crack theories may come up. I'll probably write the Akatsuki theories next.

How about Sasuke stays evil and, like Orochimaru, kills his genin sensei (with his own move no less). Naruto and Sakura in respect and sorrow, leave the mask on, and we never see Kakashi's face.

(This better not happen. Actually, this is more of a Kakashi theory than a Sasuke theory.)

Technically, Sasuke has become a missing-nin. Therefore, he'd probably be trialed and executed if brought back to Konoha.

Also... he's not really evil, IMHO. He doesn't care for Orochimaru or any of that - he just wants the power. So I wouldn't be surprised if he killed Orochimaru after he got his desired power.

I agree, however... I don't think Kishimoto-sama will kill off a main character, at least not like that. (Gaara! There's hope for you yet!)

Hmm. Kishimoto's a bit of a... I dunno, a wuss when it comes to characters. With the exception of the Third, all he's killed off is the minor characters. (Argueably, Haku and Zabuza could be included as "important", but I'm inclined to say no, just because of how little they had to do with the actual story). He brought Neji and Chouji back from the brink, and it seems like he's bringing Gaara back for the moment.

He'll kill someone major eventually. He will, he will. Not that I'm looking forward to it... but it kind of seems natural. These are ninja, who work in a lethal, hard field of work. Death is inevitable.

5. in fact, i thought sasuke mentioned (somewhat subtly?) that that was his plan all along. he KNOWS orochimaru views him as a vessel...but he intends on training with orochimaru to grow powerful and then getting rid of him before oro makes the transfer or whatever. basically, he wants to get his cake and eat it too.

what if towards the end Gaara is redeemed and finally feels love by I don't know taking a killing blow for Naruto or something. This leaves Temari to take the title of KazeKage
