I know that the recent naruto episodes are filler arcs. I haven't been watching the latest episodes (beginning of fillers), and was wondering, are they worth downloading?

I haven't downloaded any, and i was wondering if I was missing out. xD

ive only seen the 1st ep of the filler, and i cant say that it was that great; i, personally, am not watching the filler arcs, but then again ive read the manga up to ch 263

It's about 20x better than the last filler (which doesn't say much), and we actually get background information about the Sound Village... but whether it's official straight-from-Kishimoto info is another story :/

if you're on dial-up or otherwise limited in your downloads/hd space, I'd skip it. If that's not a problem and you're a completist like me, I'd get it. I don't like filler - especially filler that interferes with canon events, which this does. On the other hand, there are some amusing moments, and it's nice to see Jiraiya, Kabuto and Orochimaru again despite the context.

The latest filler arc is pretty good actually, a lot better than the race one in Tea Country. XD Episode 139 has stunning animation, believe meee. And the humor is funny too! I believe it's worth watching, even though it's not from the manga. :D

It's actually interesting. There's amusing parts and the artwork isn't as awkward and botchy as the old one, in fact it's kinda good. If you got nothing better to watch, sure.

A lot better than the old filler. So I say yes if you got the time.

I don't like that it's not from the manga. I was looking forward to the stuff about Kakashi.

Considering it's filler, it's pretty awesome! Especially the most recent episode, which not only features freaking HOTHOTHOTHOTHOOOOOT Kabuto-expressions but also some wonderfully cracky animation! It's great!

Dunno if it'll interfere with the canon, but lets hope now!

I haven't seen the filler but I am catching up on it right as we speak, because I am a huge slut for all things Orochimaru. Especially a Kujira-voiced Orochimaru. Always so amusing to me.
We'll see if it gets my Seal of Approval (it's not that hard to get, all things considering).

In my personal opinion, you're missing out as I am enjoying it a lot and think it's rather good. There is too much snobbery imho about filler and just because it's not in the manga, doesn't mean it's not worth a look. But really, only you can decide; other people's opinions can only ever take you so far; you might be better to consider the plot and see if there are elements of it that appeal to you and if there are, then give it a try and see what you think. That's my 2p worth. ^^

I'm definitely enjoying it. I'm as much of a pure-blood manga-lover as you can get, but I'm loving this filler. Bugger what people say about it not fitting in, and blah blah, it's working great as a story and I think you should go for it.

Personally, I thought it would honestly suck. But that was just me with my first reaction of "oh no, another filler." But the last filler wasn't that bad at all! And this one is no different. I mean, it's rather humorous, adverturous as usual, and leaves you really wondering what will happen next. The animation quality at first leaves something to be desired, but one the other hand, it is filler. They might not be pulling as much effort into it.

LOL.. normally, id say no. it IS hard on my space. T_T -but i am downloading it anyway, and watching it, and the newest episode is probably the only reason im torn on what to tell you. i loved it bad. -it was pretty. and it was funny. and it was good. o__O; and since we just ran into kabuto and oro again im really interested in it, LOL. its different from the manga but personally i liked it, you gotta admit it was a pretty damn good episode for just a filler.. o_O;

then again, since it IS just filler, i wouldnt worry.

If you're a Kabuto fan... download it. Without a doubt. Cuz it's the last time we'll see Kabuto for a while, as he hasn't been in the manga since. Same with Orochimaru.Jiraiya's amusing as well. It's one of the more entertaining fillers. More of a, "Dude. They're being really risky doing this. How are they going to do this without it intefering in the manga plotline?! o.O" then anything else.

Its worth is because its Naruto, but its very different from the manga. The vibe of it is off, if that makes sense. Was the thing with Idate not from the manga, or was it in there? Because this arch is sort of like that. In its own way. Sakura should have gotten strong before she went to visit Oro...
