Chibi Team Kakashi

This was based on an illustration in the manga, under Chapter 13: I'm a Ninja!! ^_^ I just found it so cute, I couldn't help myself from drawing it. Here's my chibi version of that drawing (just line art for now).










What medium would you guys recommend I color this with, if I do it manually? Watercolor? And please forgive me, but could anyone recommend a good background for this? (Nobody answered my question last time. ^^;) Thank you in advance!

Yeah, that sounds reasonable. ^_^ I was just considering how different media can induce different emotions. Like, if I color it digitally and simulate cel shading, it wouldn't appear as emotional as if I color it manually with semi-realistic shading. I agree with the second person - leaves would make a good background. That way, people can interpret why he's bloody by themselves and they can think of any situation (it's a really good piece of art, by the way - it's really good inspiration! ^_^)

I love your drawings! The Chibi Team 7 are great!! lol, you know what I noticed about your Kakashi drawing? It seems so natural and real, as if it could be his face. I've seen people that think up the weirdest things as the rest of his face and it just doesn't look right... Sorry, I'm babbling, lol

I'm glad you liked my concept art for Kakashi's face. ^^; Took me a while to decide on that. I made it a point to make his eyes as accurate as I could manage. For the lower half of his face, I looked at screencaps where you can see the contours because of shadows, and based the nose and mouth through that.
