If posts like this get allowed, who's supposed to be modding around here? I'm not trying to accuse whoever is of being lazy, but I don't recall seeing the two people listed in the userinfo (tripmywire and antipeople) in all the time I spend around here. Was that something that should really be allowed around here?

Was this really necessary? I mean, sure, neg_creep could have used a better choice of words but from my standpoint people were overreacting just a bit (as in WAY too much). If anything, the way members of this community were blowing up and responding so immaturely with four letter words and insults were much worse than neg's original post.

How is one supposed to respond seriously to people who 1) can't spell for their life, 2) resort to name calling and cursing like 12 year olds rather than kindly asking someone to re-word their post, and 3) are just too damn sensitive about words that people use when I'm pretty sure they throw out cuss words and derrorgatory remarks flippantly on their own?

I made fun of him. I couldn't delete the posts or ban him and he was going to insult the community members anyways, so I figured I'd make him look like the ass he was.

Trust me, if I'd been a mod, it wouldn't have gotten that far. I would've deleted your post and sent you an e-mail asking you to post again in a way that wouldn't piss people off(which you even said was your intent - what's the point of something like that in a community?). Problem solved, no flame wars or anons and you wouldn't have been banned.

That was rediculous that the post was deleted. It got over 263 comments and people had fun with it. Honestly, I thought it was a hit. It brought up debate and made people keep coming back to this community. Afew people whined about deleting it and you bow to their feet. That's not being a mod, thats being weak.

Maybe you might consider appointing two or more co-mods. I'm sure you guys wouldn't have a problem recruiting a few out of the existing members.
