My theory regarding questions of... How did Sakura dodge everything? And... Why did the old lady let her hair loose?


Well here's my theory. Since the sand has something for puppeteers, maybe Chiyo-baa is one too. When she let loose her hair, she used strands of her hair to create the chakra strings to connect her to Sakura. That way, Sakura could be controlled to dodge all of Sasori's attacks. Another idea is, instead of total control, maybe the strings gave Sakura a small signal as to how she should move.


Just my thought. Any comments and more ideas would be wonderful :O

When Chiyo was getting the scrolls before Team 7 left Sand, there were a bunch of puppets on the walls in the room around her - so yeah, it seems safe to assume that she's a puppeteer too.

So if Sasori kills Sakura - he'll never have been born. With him not existing, he can't kill her and she'll grow older, get pregnant, go back in time and give birth to him - then he'll kill her again. It will cause a rip in the space-time continuum!

That really depennds on the nature of time Traval. Some belive that you will create an alternet existance where that person died. others would say since you are already bending the boundrys of time you will still exist since you are outside of it all. you will just return to a world where you never existed and no one would know you less they had temperal distortion going on. But with that one go there is the constant loop hole. For the main players it would be a never ending cycle.

Remember how Sasori did the mind-thing on that Sand ninja, who then killed all the guards, granting Deidara and Sasori easy access to the village? And everyone was like "whoa, what was that mind thing?" If anything, I think Chiyo-baa did something similar with Sakura. Maybe she imbibed her with her wisdom and techniques, or established some sort of telepathic connection. That would have symbolized why she took her cap off.
