140 AND 265 Discussion

OKIE, sorry for the wait, but I just watched/read them both and here's the verdict:

140:
- Kabuto/Kagerou was mighty hot
- The filler DEFINITELY needs to stop hinting towards the upcoming main arch
- Naruto nailed it with Rasengan, good job, you could tell it wasn't Kabuto when he got hit with it twice, cause Kabuto is analytical like that!
- Jiraiya has STILL yet to come back after being ganked by that banshee v_v
- Orochimaru is a manipulative bastard

265:
- This arch will have either a pause of pursuit to Akatsuki or a filler when Team Konoha finishes with Deidara and Sasori
- Sasori got pwn'd by Sakura, Chiyo-baa needs to step her game up
- WTF happened to Gaara?! Deidara wasn't even holding him or anything when they flashed over to him....

Q's for 140:
- Were those moves used by Kagerou of Kabuto's repetoire or Kagerou's?
- Is the Katon: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu a move known by the Uchiha Clan AKA Sasuke and Itachi? Why wouldn't it be Suiton if it uses mist? What does the mist contain that makes the fire increase size?
- Why is it that Sakura can't do more jutsus! (I know, not a question lol)
- Does Arashi-niisan have a cursed seal on? Does Kagerou?

Q's for 265:
- Will Chiyo-baa live up to her foreshadowing and die facing her grandson?
- What will Sasori look like?
- How will Team Gai deal with the clone trap?
- Transition to Konoha's chuunin exam after this?
- How will Kakashi and Naruto handle the C-4 Concocter Extraordinaire, Deidara?
- Did Gaara REALLY die?
- Where in the hell is the rest of Akatsuki? (it'll be 7 remaining when their through with this arch)

1) hell yah She's totaly kickass and YIP! Youthfulness is sooo powerful!
2)frail old man parhaps?
3)maybe Gai will go drunken boxing along with lee. And neji with pull some super dance moves outta his ass to kickass, and for Tenten she'll try to blow her and her clone person up!
4)I think They'll have a different arc with dealing with what happened to Garaa if he dies or not
5)I think Naruto will do shunshin no jutsu! and prove he's like his dad whoop whoop! And kakashi will bow down at his prowess and devlare naruto his "naru-chan"

and why would Deidare bring Garaa's body with him unless Garaa is somewhat alive?!

Deidara MIGHT be a girl! lol but I doubt it.....did you see the fan art in the zip file? I like the Zetsu and girl Akatsuki art!

Shunshin no Jutsu, I'm assuming, is the flash technique, ne?

I don't think the Uchihas would know 'Katon: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu' because all of the Uchiha jutsu along those lines are fire related, it seems to be their speciality.

Also Kasumi literally means mist, and maybe the mist isn't made of water (since it did make the fire go nuts) so it wouldn't be appropriate to use Suiton to describe it.

With regards to the manga: I also can't wait to see what Sasori will look like! :D

Maybe it's gasoline, but wouldn't the user die from having gasoline in his/her mouth? Maybe fire spreads when mist is around, seeing as it's an excess amount of oxygen in the atmosphere and it makes the fire spread that way...

Originally, I think Kagerou's. But since Orochi has been studiuosly collecting jutsu for ages (and presumably Kabuto gets access to some of the jutsu as well as other ... stuff), who knows...the heart was pulled out, so it may be an anatomical or medical jutsu only someone like Kabuto could have done or directed.

It would be a move known to them if they saw it, those cheap-ass sharingan copy cats! XDDDD I think the mist just got to close to Kabuto and, and well...it just caught on fire and went mad. ^^

I wouldn't have thought so. Those are for Special people. ^^ But either Arashi niichan has been a guest in Orochi's labs or this is his special talent. Sakon and Ukon merged their cells happily and so a body merging jutsu wouldn't be quite an unknown natural quantity.

Probably. It would be good drama. Sasori figured out her plan a little too late to save Hiruko, but he's wise to her now. So she'll have to up her game. I want to see Sakura taken out of the equation so they can talk actually; I want to see them interact as Sasori and his history interest me greatly.

Like the smexy puppet wielding God he is. >:)

I have a theory (purely total speculation, I might add) that he might be disabled in some physical way. Just because of the name of his favourite puppet, the puppet he is using as both weapon and armour.

- How will Team Gai deal with the clone trap?

My theory is that if the clones are mirroring their every move, they should clearly stop fighting, sit down and drink tea. Thereby forcing their clones into the same civilised behaviour. (Or they should just all come together and fight each other clones...)

- Transition to Konoha's chuunin exam after this?

Mmmm...dunno. Maybe see some more characters back in Sand, and then in Konoha? Maybe more pursuit of Akatsuki? Orochi and Sasuke stuff? Lots to wrap up. ^^

- How will Kakashi and Naruto handle the C-4 Concocter Extraordinaire, Deidara?

Well, it'll be interesting. For all we know, Deidara had been watching Gaara from a far for ages and so knew what he could do and had a battle plan. He knows nothing about Naruto; Itachi even had to (reluctantly - ahahaha, so pwned!) tell them which one he was. Deidara might find Kakashi OK to fight; he has the sharingan, but so does Itachi, so presumably Deidara knows all about the sharinghan and might have a scheme for dealing with it...

I expect they'll have to try to ground the chocobo somehow...

...and Naruto will use *that* Jutsu, that Jiraiya told him not to use. :P

- Did Gaara REALLY die?

It doesn't look like we'll know for ages now, with all these fights to clear out of the way. I don't think so. But I wouldn't be totally surprised.

- Where in the hell is the rest of Akatsuki? (it'll be 7 remaining when they're through with this arc)

On their union break. ^^ Itachi is being consoled by Kisame because those bitchy pretentious art whores stole his jinchuuriki, Zetsu is probably now eating Yuura (Itachi's substitute), Sir Leader has gone home and will take Sasori and Deidara's call when they're done, and the rest...well, we don't know them, so who knows! Really tall Akatsuki probably bashed his head on the ceiling and has passed out from concussion somewhere...:)

Really; they all left; their projections dissipated as the ritual was over!

And Deidara and Sasori danna will be fine...*breathes*

Possibly......but if that's the case, wouldn't Chiyo-baa know about something like that? You just don't expect something like that to be your cushion lol

And about the Akatsuki, unless they are together via buddy system, I don't think that any of the members know each other like that other than by full name...

I thought the pulling the heart out technique was a Fuuma Clan ability. I'm pretty sure Sasame said that, and that is how she knew how to stop it.

It was Kagerou's. Totally the Fuuma clan's. Orochimaru-sama and Kabuto-san have no need for suicidal attacks. They're too damned stubborn and arrogant anyways. :P

Exactly. Orochimaru puts the seals on people he wants to use as hosts. They're basically ways to test the durability of the person, give them a boost of power, and put them under his absolute control.

The Fuumas are rejected experiments, and Arashi said that all of their bodies and techniques were collected into onehideous freak ninja. His face did turn black before he mutated, but it didn't look anything like the level two curse seal activations the Sound Five and Sasuke used. Of course, it could just be that the filler animators were too lazy to show the whole process. -_- Maybe we'll find out next episode.

And Deidara and Sasori danna will be fine...

Hahahahaha. They are Kishimoto's sacrificial lambsevil ninjas. Poor guys. :D

I don't buy that Naruto will be more difficult for Deidara than Gaara, though. There's not really a whole lot to know about him, aside from what his new techniques are.

Kakashi is the one he should be scared of. He's deadlier than Gaara or Naruto. Which is probably why Deidara is, like, "Hey, my teammate is gonna kill your friends. You should go fight him instead and let me fight the little kid by myself. Serious, please run away!" :P

hell yeah. ive been saying that for a while now after the last couple of chapters and episodes. the chapters have me on edge already and this FILLER!! ~am i the only one whos being put on edge by these damn fillers? their not supposed to be so absorbing and entertaining are they?? i told my sister: "yo. they ARE getting a little bit TOO close to sasuke for it being just a FILLER arent they?? this filler isint going to effect the canon too much will it?? do you think they might pull a 'de-railed train' (like most animes do) and steer off the manga at a point like this!? *ANGST*" her reaction: "OMGnuu ;_;"

No, you're not the only one. I was having the exact same conversation with my friend last week. I'd almost rather that they kept the storyline completely separate to the manga in the filler, though I guess if they don't end up changing the manga storyline once they get back to it, I'll be alright. It's just a bit annoying because I always consider the manga as canon, and meanwhile, anime-only fans will be adding all of this extra stuff to it. :\ I don't mind anime fillers. Some of it might be boring, some silly, but if they're somewhat entertaining, I deal with it. That's because they don't change the canon for me. This filler though...urgh. I don't know. x_X Just please don't change anything from the manga!
