Much to my surprise there were no announcements about the cast of the Naruto dub at AnimeExpo. Looking over the convention schedule, the next really big con will be Otakon which will be held Aug. 19-21 in Baltimore. Since Naruto is due to start airing in September there's a good chance that by that date Cartoon Network could be running promos or preparing to.

Of course, the cast being announced at a convention isn't a given. A simple press release is often used for giving out cast lists. Though for a show as big as Naruto one would think that something like that would be done in a big way.


So it's back to wait as see, folks. If you know anyone in the industry ask them to keep their ears up for you. Pros do tend to talk to each other.

LAst otakon they had promos of FMA and everyone went crazy. "science is the answer to everything"

man this simply stinks. I wanna know already! Well, I do know just a bit of the cast but I wanna know who's Naruto, basically.

They could do something like they are doing with FMA... voice actors are unknown until the episode has aired. And if I remember correctly the only reason the voice actors for the main characters were released was because the first episode aired before the musical guest.

I'm pretty sure the majority of the cast was made public long before the first episode aired. That's the way I remember it.

What it was is they listed who was in the cast but not what character he or she played... There were dicussions about how well a person did a voice and wanted to know who was the voice. I think they released the actors seen in the first few episodes but they did hold off putting actor to role

Sweet, I'm going to be at Otakon this year, I am every year..so you think it may be like what FMA did, with showing the first dub ep? I think FMA came out September that year too, didn't it?

I don't recall when FMA started airing. As for showing a whole episode, you never know. It would depend on time and how much other stuff there is to deal with.

I hope so since it has a huge fanbased popularity like FMA. just look a AX. So many naruto peeps
