Morning everyone! ^^

(It's not noon yet...:P) Well, it's Wednesday, so that means spoilers and anime day. :)

Here is the first summary (spoiler) for 267 I have seen today; my translation, so please feel free to beat me for my wonky grammar. A lot of people will like this. ^^ I'll say no more. But of course, please don't take it as gospel! Spoliers/Summaries are not *always* reliable, as we know (floating Narutos?). ^^ However, it sounds very reasonable. And now...on with

扉絵　サソリ天才、ゆえに異端。
大国"砂"の中でさえ満たされぬ、"赤砂のサソリ"、その野望とは。
サソリは"暁"では元々大蛇丸と組んでいろいろやったそうです。大蛇丸の名前を聞いてサクラの目つきが変わりました。
チヨバア様の二つの巻物がいよいよ登場。その巻物とは、サソリが最初に造った傀儡、サソリの"父"と"母"だった。
次週、サソリの過去、その全てが明かされる!!
次号、「傀儡師」へ!!

267; Fierce Determination...!!

Even in the great Country of Sand, 'Sasori of the Red Sands's ambition is not satisfied. It appears (the 'spolier's author gets the impression) Sasori united with Orochimaru originally in Akatsuki and did various (things). Sakura's look changed hearing the name of Orochimaru. Granny Chiyo's two scrolls are at last introduced. Those two scrolls are (puppets which Sasori first created - his first (made) puppets?), Sasori's Father and Mother.

Next week, Sasori's past will be revealed!!

Next issue, Puppet Master!!

.....If that's the real summary, Sasori will be more or less officially the sickest character of the series.

Well, there was the comment while they're standing outside Sand that (shit, what's his name? Yuura?) had been influenced by Orochimaru years before, so there was def. a connection there.

You've got a point there! Maybe he didn't kill them, but the death of his parents so aggrieved him that he FELL INTO THE DARKNESS. And then he turned them into puppets so that they'd be with him...forever. :o

I can't get to your icon page, so I'm not sure if you made that Sasori icon, but if you did, can I use it as a temporary icon for the Sasori community? The computer I have access to ATM has a dialup modem and no PSP, so I can't make anything for awhile.

His father and mother? They looked like really decent people, too. At least Itachi didn't drain the blood out of his mum and dad, then peel off their skins and turn them into dolls.

I wonder who the evilest of all the Akatsuki is. Probably Sir Leader. He needs to have an impressive and sufficiently bloody past for all the other baddies to respect him.

Yes. Well, that's what Chiyo said. But that doesn't mean sasori couldn't make the body into a puppet if that's indeed what he did. :)

Ah. Well, the fact that Sasori's first puppets were his parents doesn't really surprise me. Seems to be Ze Golden Rule to enter Akatsuki after all. No family slaughter: no membership. Although turning them into puppets is. Kinda disturbing. ♥

I was under the impression that Kakashi's dad was the one who killed Sasori's papa, no? >_>

Yes, that's what Granny said. But Sasori could still have taken the body and made a puppet. Or he might have done it himself and placed the blame. ^^ We don't know if Granny actually saw the death of her son after all. But if Sasori's odd for doing it, after all. But if Sasori's odd for doing it, Chiyo's odd for hanging onto (and using - about to use for hanging onto (and using - about to use）her puppet son...Chiyo has never struck me as a nice fluffy old lady. She's hardcore. ;)
