This is my second time yes, but I've just been informed of some of the Naruto cast [dubbie of course]. It's already out, they've got the complete Team Seven and Gaara. ;-; I hug you all as I write this dear friends. Hugs.



Johnny Yong Bosch as Naruto Uzumaki

Johnny Yong Bosch has also been known for in his roles as Adam Park The Black/Green Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. Trigun as Vash the Stampede, Witch Hunter Robin as Haruto Sakaki ,Wolf's Rain as Kiba. I only name a few of which most should know of.


Mark Hildreth as Sasuke Uchiha

Mark Hildreth has also been known as Heero Yuy of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. (Most notable role in anime)



Rachael Lillis as Sakura Haruno

Rachael Lillis has also been known as Misty and Jesse of Pokemon,Ayaka Usami of Gravitation,and Pilika of Shaman King. [Pilika is Horohoro's sister.].


Steven Blum as Kakashi Hatake

Most noteably known as Spike of Cowboy Bebop.



Colleen O'Shaughnessey as
Ino Yamanaka
Konohamaru

Most noteably known as Sora Takenouchi of Digimon and Suzy of Zatch Bell.

Well, I have no iodea who any of these people are, so...I have some faint recollection of how a few of them sound from Pokemon.

But they are actors, so one can hope....mind you, of course, even the RSC's finest couldn't make a silk purse if they were given a sow's ear...by which I mean I hope the script is not too dreadful. :S

Eh, I'm not too sure about Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Ino (her voice just doesn't seem to suit the personality), but judging by her voice work in 'Tales of Symphonia', she'll make an awesome Konohamaru. Because seriously, her little boy voice is freaking INCREDIBLE (not as good as, say, Brianne Siddal's little boy voice, but still good).

I'm not quite sure what I think about the children in Team 7's actors... but I do like Steven Blum. But that's probably because he had seriously hard core David Hayter moments, and I love me my Solid Snake. ^___^

And Gaara. WTF? o__O That's Gourry's VA right there.

But then again I'm biased and tend to think Gaara should sound at least as young as Naruto. That's always how I heard his voice in my head- always made him seem creepier. o__O

I'm actually interested in seeing how the dub turns out. I don't like the voices in the Japanese version very much (although I got used to them playing the fighting game for hours and hours and HOURS on end), so I wonder how the English voices will do. *muses* CAN'T BE ANY WORSE THAN THE FMA DUB. *sob*

I think Sasuke's voice was a good choice. I worry about Blum being Kakashi though. I love Steven Blum, I think he is one of the best English voice actors out there, however, I think his voice isn't right to play Kakashi. It's too rough and bad boy for him. Oh well, I'll just wait and see what it sounds like. I'm still trying to picture Vash's voice on Naruto...I like Bosch too, but his voice seems too old for the part...but maybe he'll change it for the role.

Mmm, I feel the same way about Steven Blum as Kakashi. The only role I know him for IS Spike. However, he played it off FANTASTICALLY.

I don't worry too much, though, since Spike DID have his flighty moments. He didn't ALWAYS sound like he was channeling Solid Snake. I think that Blum is a good enough actor to moderate when it comes to Kakashi. Well, I hope at least. o__O

I've never heard any of Bosch's roles. ^__^;;

Here's my comments for the voice actors.

Johnny Yong Bosh as Naruto -> Love what he done for Sakaki in Witch Hunter Robin and his role in Power Ranger (I was a fan). Can't wait to see what he's gonna do for our hyper active fox ninja.

Mark Hildreth as Sasuke Uchiha -> Since I remember Heero's voice, I'm pretty sure he can do a very good job with our favorite against Uchiha.

Rachael Lillis as Sakura Haruno -> I don't know what to say... Just the thought of the Jesse and Mysty of Pokémon scares me right now...

Steven Blum as Kakashi Hatake -> Difficult to say since I haven't heard his voice before...

Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Ino Yamanaka and Konohamaru -> I remember Sora from Digimon and thought she had a great voice. I don't worry than.

Eric Stuart as Gaara -> Gaara with Kaiba's voice? That thought just scares me... But on the other hand.., They are both psycho in their own way.

Like some of the others say, since we have Mark Hildreth in the show, we have a chance to hear Scott McNeil!!! I can see him doing Gai or Lee! XD

But hey! At least Kakashi-sensei will sound pretty damn hot. Not that i'm complaining with his current.

When I started reading this, I was all, 'Johnny who? Mark who? Ah, well, they can't be that bad.' Then I saw that Rachel Lillis voices Sakura, and I wanted to kill something for a second, but then I remembered that dude, I like Rachel Lillis. She's one of the only VAs in Pokemon I can stand, and that's because she fuckin' rocks. So Rachel as Sakura = A-OK by me!

Then Steve Blum and Collen O'Shaughnessy, I knew of them being in Naruto, no problem, I'll get used to it. They're unremarkable, but at least they're not bad, you know...?

And then Eric Stuart.

And is anyone else annoyed by all the "OMG Kakashi/Naruto/Gaara is gonna have Spike's/Vash's/Kaiba's voice!!!111one"? It's okay when it's done jokingly, but a lot of people seem really worried about it. None of these guys are Mel Blanc, but they do have a range. They're probably not going to sound exactly the same as any other role they've played.
